Model: UHD60

  • Native 4K UHD 3840x2160 2160p resolution, bright 3000 lumens, and cinematic color
  • HDR-Compatible - HDR10 produces the brightest whites, deepest blacks, and life-like color due to the REC.2020 wide color gamut and DCI-P3 color gamut coverage
  • HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 deliver a full 18Gbps for the best 4K UHD video bandwidth, image quality and device compatibility
  • Vertical Lens Shift and 1.6x zoom provide an intuitive and flexible installation
  • UltraDetail allows fine adjustments to image clarity and sharpness resulting in a clear and highly detailed image
  • 2x4W stereo speakers and optical output to AV Receiver delivers crisp sharp audio

The UHD60 is a state-of-the-art 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) projector for home theater capable of delivering ultra sharp images with a high level of detail and astounding color. With 4 times the pixels of 1080p, a resolution of 3840x2160, 3000 lumens, and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, the UHD60 delivers breath-taking and vivid picture quality. Offering High Dynamic Range in the form of HDR10, vertical lens shift and a 1.6x Zoom, and an HDMI 2.0 port with Full 18Gbps, the UHD60 has been engineered to deliver the ultimate 4K UHD home viewing experience. The UHD60 is powered by a revolutionary Texas Instruments 4K DLP UHD chipset with a high performance DMD. This utilizes XPR video processing technology with fast switching to display 8.3 million distinct pixels as mandated by the Consumer Technology Association’s 4K UHD 2160p specification.

The UHD60 can project 4K UHD images up to 140 inches, allowing viewers to sit as far as 10 feet away and still enjoy all 4K UHD pixels. The average 55-75 inch 4K UHD TV simply cannot match this, as viewers typically sit further away from their TV than the optimum viewing area of 5-6 feet. High Dynamic Range, also known as HDR, is the true star of the 4K UHD show. HDR leverages REC.2020 wide color gamut and DCI-P3 color gamut coverage to deliver super luminous levels of white, the deepest black levels, and life-like real world color that was previously only possible in the cinema.

A 15% vertical lens shift and a 1.6x optical zoom provide a great deal of flexibility in terms of installation location, while dual 4 watt stereo speakers generate audio that is loud and crisp. The lamp life on the UHD60 is a robust 10,000 hours in ECO mode and 15,000 hours in Dynamic mode.

Optoma stuns the projector world today with its release of the Optoma UHD60, a projector featuring TI's new 4K DLP chip, priced at $1,999. Also released today is a higher performance variation of the same model called the Optoma UHD65, priced at $2,499. These are the first 4K projectors to come to market anywhere near this price level.
.........................................................................

Conclusion

Our initial experience with the Optoma UHD65 pre-production sample is quite satisfying. It required professional calibration to get the best performance from it, but once that is done the extreme image detail and overall picture quality with 4K source material is outstanding for the money. It has ample brightness for dark room home theater use. It shows very good but not leading edge contrast and black levels, but certainly the contrast and black levels are sufficient to produce a balanced and thoroughly engaging video image.

The frame interpolation system is simply outstanding, and with PureMotion 1 active it delivers an amazingly smooth, stable picture that is virtually free of annoying side effects. In our view the PureMotion processing is a substantial advantage of the UHD65 over the UHD60, and easily worth the extra money.

We look forward to seeing a final production unit, and we will write a formal review once we've had time to put it through its paces. But from what we've seen so far it looks like the Optoma UHD65 is going to rock the projector world with its price/performance proposition. There is simply no such thing as a high precision projector with an extreme detail 4K video image anywhere near its price. If you want to see ALL of the detail in your 4K UHD Blu-rays or other 4K sources on a very large home theater screen, the Optoma UHD65 is an exciting new way to do it without breaking the bank.

Δεν το λες και very good...

:rip:
