It appears that the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray drive on the Microsoft Xbox Series X won't be supporting Dolby Vision playback, based on a tweet by Mr John Linneman, a content creator at Digital Foundry, who had early access to the next-gen console:
If true, then it's very likely that this is because the Xbox Series X is using low-latency Dolby Vision, just like the Xbox One X.
To clarify, the Xbox Series X will still be able to play 4K Blu-ray discs (even Dolby Vision ones) in HDR10 without dynamic metadata.
