There are a few ways to tell if a Samsung OLED is using a RGB QD-OLED panel or a WRGB WOLED panel.
The easiest way is by shining a light on the screen when the TV is off.
If the screen turns grey when hit by light, then it’s QD-OLED.
If it remains black, then it’s WRGB OLED.

Another way is by taking a macro shot of the TV’s subpixel structure... you can simply use your mobile phone.
If the red, green and blue subpixels are arranged in a triangular fashion, then it’s QD-OLED.
Otherwise, it’s WRGB OLED.

Just like LG with the CX WOLED debacle back in 2020, Samsung sneaked 40 Gbps HDMI 2.1 connectors on the S95C QD-OLED, yet it actually advertised 48 Gbps connectors.
This limitation comes from the One Connect box and is not present on the more affordable S90C models that are missing the external box.

It is worth mentioning that the 40 Gbps bandwidth will only affect high-end PC gamers with at least a Radeon RX 7900 XTX / RTX 4080 GPU.
The Xbox Series X and PS5 consoles are barely utilizing 32 Gbps most of the time, and Blu-Ray players or streamed movies should be fine too as they are mostly capped at 24 / 50 / 60 Hz. 48 Gbps would be enough for 144 Hz; however, if Samsung ever decides to up the refresh rate to 165 Hz or beyond, we would probably need to see a new HDMI 2 revision to support at least 80 Gbps, or maybe TV makers could finally embrace DisplayPort 2.x.
