At InfoComm 2006, JVC Professional Products Company announced new, more flexible and more economical D-ILA projector systems, along with a price restructuring of all of its popular front projection models. Three new systems are being introduced, in partnership with Anchor Bay Technologies, developer of the DVDO high performance video processor. JVC continues to offer its 1080p models with a state-of-the-art processor co-developed in conjunction with Faroudja. This brings to 10, the total D-ILA front projector packages offered by the company, priced from $6,995 to $21,995.
"This new pricing gives JVC a competitive position in the market, while providing our customers an affordable home theater option with the best picture quality. Our popular DLA-HD2K model is now available with DVDO processor for under $12,000 retail," said Carl Mandelbaum, National Marketing Manager, Display Products, JVC Professional Products Company. "We're known in the marketplace for providing the highest quality home theater projection systems. Joining forces with DVDO further strengthens our mission to provide the most affordable, high quality projection solutions available."
"With the addition of the DVDO processors to our line-up, we now provide a more economical, well rounded home theater system line-up," said Carl Mandelbaum, display products national marketing manager for JVC.
JVC's renowned DLA-HD2K projector was one of the first models in the industry to feature native 1920 x 1080 chips. Since its introduction 2 years ago, the projector has become a favorite in Hollywood screening rooms because of its silky smooth film-like reproduction. This past year, JVC introduced the DLA-HD10K, available with both long throw and short throw lens options as well as improved contrast ratio and greater color accuracy. With restructured pricing on the HD2K, and with more flexible processor options, both models are expected to gain popularity in the highly competitive home theater marketplace.

Ισίδωρε, υπάρχουν προβολικά με τα οποία μπορείς να "ζήσεις" και να δεις παρα πολύ καλά με τιμή κάτω από 2.000. Όπως καταλαβαίνεις οι τιμές των νέων μηχανημάτων είναι πάντα αυξημένες ενώ με την πάροδο του χρόνου αυτές πέφτουν.
Οι τιμές που προανέφερα ειναι ενδικτικές και όχι street price.

Ισίδωρε, μια διευκρίνηση…τα μηχανάκια που αναφέρει ο Μανόλης είναι η νέα γενιά 1080p ανάλυσης , ανεξάρτητου τεχνολογίας… χώρια που τα περισσότερα δεν έχουν παρουσιαστή ακόμα (επίσημα) …
Το σίγουρο είναι αν είσαι έτοιμος για τη μεγάλη εικόνα υπάρχει πληθώρα από μηχανήματα που ξεκινούν πλέον από €800 - €2.000 για να σε καλύψουν σε τεχνολογία είτε LCD είτε DLP βεβαίως και εδώ τα ρητά, «ότι πληρώσεις παίρνεις» και «περί ορέξεως κολοκυθόπιτα» δίνουν και παίρνουν…

ότι η τιμή του Optoma HD81 θα είναι πολύ χαμηλότερη από 10.000 ευρώ. Δεν πιστεύω ότι θα ξεπεράσει σε καμμία περίπτωση τα 7.000-7.500 ευρώ, ακόμα και σαν τιμή εκκίνησης από την Adamco.

Εγω προσφατα ανακαλυψα εναν φτηνο, τον sony qualia 004 μονο 30.000,00€.Υπομονη παιδες μεχρι να βγουν μαζικα και να ειναι προσιτα τα hddvd και blueray που θα παιζουν 1080p τοτε θα πεσουν και τα προβολια με 1080p,γιατι να παρεις απο τωρα κατι το οποιο θα χαραμίζεται με upscaling και κανει οσο ενα καλο αυτοκινητο.

Παντως και ο hitachi pj-tx200 ο οποιος ειναι 720p 1080i και με τιμη λαμπας 265,00€ τιμη απο 1300-1600 και καλες κριτικες δεν θα με χαλαγε.Σιγα το προβλημα αν βλεπω 1080i αξιζει πραγματι τοσο πολυ η διαφορα στην ποιοτητα εικονας με τα 1080p η ειμασται για αλλη μια φορα θυματα του marketing?

Παντως απο το στρατοπεδο των dlp δεν εχει υπαρξει ακομη δυναμικη απαντηση στα 1080. Αν εξαιρεσουμε την projection design οι "δυνατες" εταιριες ( marantz, sharp, in focus, benq etc) ανακοινωνουν, αλλα κατι περιμενουν για να ριξουν τα μηχανακια τους στην αγορα. Το ερωτημα ειναι τι;
