InFocus does it again-a home theater projector combining both style and substance, a stunning fusion of precision-tuned video performance and exceptional visual design: the Play Big IN82. The full-HD 1080p IN82 will please even the most demanding videophile. In fact, the IN82 is the highest performance, single-chip DLP home theater projector in InFocus history.
The Highlights
· 1080p DLP DarkChip3 and a native 4000:1 contrast ratio. Texas Instruments® DLP technology is unsurpassed in its ability to deliver deep black levels, pure whites, and subtle grayscale details. Contrast can be boosted to a maximum 12000:1 using the iris.
· Video optimized brightness up to 1500 Max ANSI lumens. The IN82 is bright enough to deliver film-standard, D65K color accuracy in nearly any theater, even with ambient light or daytime viewing. Or, brightness can be reduced to improve black level performance in a dedicated home theater without dimming the picture.
· HDMI 1.3 with Deep Color™ support. The new HDMI standard can display up to 1.07 billion colors for a smooth picture without color band artifacts.
(Deep Color requires HDMI 1.3 compatible media player & source material.)
· Pixelworks™ DNX™ 10-bit video processing. The same outstanding processing, de-interlacing, and scaling performance as the award-winning InFocus Play Big IN7x series.
· Built-in scaling support for 2.35:1 aspect ratio, for a true Cinemascope/widescreen without an external scaler (requires anamorphic lens, available separately).
· Comprehensive connectivity & I/O, including HDMI, DVI, and PC input, screen triggers, RS232, and an IR repeater input.
· InFocus Color Gamut Calibrator and ISF Day & Night presets. Installers can “lock in” optimized calibration settings for clients-an excellent value-add opportunity.
Orders may be placed beginning July 10, 2007, and products will begin shipping in August.
