To be fair, I use Peak Designs' capture clip V3 on my E-M5 Mark II, but the attachment point is mounted on my E-M5 Mark II Arca-Swiss L-Bracket which is one solid piece of metal and adds some significant weight to my E-M5. Having said, I had it dangling on my vest with heavy lens such as the 7-14 Pro and the 35-100 f/2.8 lens without any issues. I would NEVER mount just the capture clip base plate on the E-M5 Mark II even if it is better built. I also have an E-M1X that is attached to a 3-Legged Arca-Swiss L-Bracket as well with the PD capture anchor link (it has an attachment point specifically for that). I NEVER ATTACH the PD capture anchor mount DIRECTLY to any tripod mount after I learned my lessons working PRO in the field with my Nikons. I always attach it to a metal bracket (such as an L-Bracket that can spread the force evenly across the base plate of the camera rather than just a small area).
The reason I added these metal bracket attachments before I put the PD anchor mount is because, all PD anchor mounts are rated up to 200 lbs of force, which is quite impressive! Which means, they don't break easily under extreme torquing stress up to, of course 200lbs of force. The problem is that very few cameras have their tripod mounts designed to sustain up to 200lbs of force. And you know what happens when you have 2 anchor points, one is rated up to 200lbs of force and the other on the camera that is not. The one that is rated less than 200lbs of force will break. And that is not limited to just the OMD E-M5 Mark III or OM-5. I remembered having one of my Nikon D4s tripod mount bent slightly outwards because of the PD anchor point putting stress and torque while the camera is dangling and attached just on the screw mount, because Nikon never designed the tripod screw that was attached to the base of the battery grip to hold up to 200 lbs of force. With those lessons learned, my E-M1X is now attached to an L-Bracket mount that have specific attachment points for the PD capture clip anchor links. So far, they are just holding up; that's with my E-M5 Mark II and E-M1X.
