…τίτλοι τέλους και σε αυτό το κομμάτι της αγοράς…δεν ξέρω τι λένε οι ειδήμονες και λάτρεις της υπέρτατης εικόνας απλά μερικά πράγματα είναι καθαρά στο πως κινείται η αγορά…ήταν γνώστη η συμμαχία παραγώγων ταινιών ερωτικού περιεχομένου με την Toshiba για την κυκλοφορία αποκλειστικά HD τίτλων μονο σε HDDVD πράγμα που ειδικά στην Αμερική οι ταινίες αυτές σε μεγάλο βαθμό κινούνται όχι με ενοικίαση αλλά με mail order αποτελέσουν ένα μεγάλο κομμάτι των πωλήσεων του HDDVD… και σαφώς βοηθήσουν στην επιτυχία του… πλέον και αυτή η συμμαχία έσπασε και έρχεται να μειώσει περαιτέρω τις πωλησεις των HDDVD τίτλων… η Digital Playground (ποιος δεν έχει δει τους Πειρατές η το Island Fever σε HD ? ) ανακοίνωσε την κυκλοφορία 7 τίτλων σε Blu Ray μέσα στον Ιανουάριο…

01.08.2008 — Digital Playground, the pornography studio which recently said it would be shipping Blu-ray discs despite initially choosing HD DVD, has announced eight titles it will be releasing on Blu-ray in February.
The rollout deals another blow to the HD DVD camp, which recently lost key movie producer Warner Brothers to Blu-ray. Digital Playground now plans to support both formats “until there is a clear-cut winner,” according to company founder Joone, who spoke with CE Pro last month.
“Pirates,” the first Blu-ray title from Digital Playground, shipped on January 4 and will be available on January 11, the company says.
The next eight titles to be released are: “Island Fever 4,” “Babysitters,” “Island Fever 3,” “Jack’s Teen America 3,” “Jesse Jane: Sexual Freak,” “Hush,” “Contract Star” and “Jesse Jane in Pink.”
Joone says that he was influenced by PlayStation 3 owners asking when their content would be available on Blu-ray.
“A lot of people were emailing that bought a PlayStation and they were basically saying, ‛When are you guys going to release Blu-ray?’ They really have no preference in format yet because it’s so new. When it comes down to image quality, there is no difference between the two,” he told CE Pro last month.
I guess it’s not just the high-end home theater products that PS3 owners are interested in.
