CD/DVD/SACD Players με ψηφιακές εισόδους. Για χρήση ως DAC's. Υπάρχουν; Ποιά είναι;

Πολύς λόγος γίνεται στις μέρες μας για αυτόνομα DAC's που σαν κύρια αποστολή τους θα έχουν να παίζουν τα άϋλα formats που έχουμε στις ψηφιακές μας βιβλιοθήκες.

Υπάρχουν όμως και μερικά CD/DVD/Blu-Ray/SACD Players, προερχόμενα από την κατηγορία Hi-End, που είναι εφοδιασμένα με ψηφιακές εισόδους. Τα Players αυτά έχουν φυσικά ως βασική αποστολή να παίζουν τα δισκάκια μας. Συνδεόμενα όμως με κάποιο κατάλληλο Interface (π.χ. USB to S/PDIFF) μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν ως αυτόνομα DAC's και να μη χρειάζεται να προμηθευτούμε πρόσθετο εξωτερικό DAC για ν' απολαύσουμε τα άϋλα formats που έχουμε στη διάθεση μας.

Τα Players αυτού του είδους (με εισόδους) είναι αρκετά σπάνια και εδώ θα κάνουμε μία προσπάθεια να συγκεντρώσουμε όσα περισσότερα μπορούμε, ώστε με τη βοήθεια όλων να φτιάξουμε ένα κατάλογο, όσο το δυνατόν πλήρη.

Quad Elite CDP - CD Pre Amplifier

The Elite CDP uses a bespoke designed transport mechanism optimised to allow the unit to perform at utmost perfection. Its Crystal 24-bit/192kHz DAC converts digital data into analogue signal, which is available as either fixed level for use with a traditional pre-amplifier or as a variable level to allow direct connection to a power amplifier. It features six digital inputs to accept a range of PCM streams coming from digital outputs such as a DAB tuner, TV/satellite box, or computer soundcard.

Compact disc SACD player
Following the tremendous success of the 306 line of CD players, Cary Audio Design’s new CD 306 SACD Professional Version includes the latest in SACD, HDCD and CD playback technology. It features a new servo board design with internal components tested to 105° C. The PMD-200 filter has now been replaced with a high quality Burr Brown filter chipset. HDCD decoding is accomplished with the absolute latest software available. Larger, multiple power transformers along with higher current regulators add up to stronger, higher current regulated power supplies. Cary Audio CD 303T SACD Professional Version
Compact disc SACD player

The CD 303T SACD is a vacuum tube/solid state selectable SACD player. Plays Redbook CDs and upsamples at 44.1, 96, 192, 384, 512, and 768kHz. Internal clocking of 22.5792 MHz in SACD processing mode. In vacuum tube mode, the analog output section utilizes four 12AU7 vacuum tubes as the audio gain stage as well as the output buffer. Can be used as a standalone DAC with switchable inputs for USB (24 bit 192 kHz), RCA, and Toslink. Four PCM1792u DAC chips running in parallel pairs. The output vacuum tubes have a removable panel above them for tube exchange or ‛tube rolling’ without opening the chassis.
Additional features of this player include adjustable metal cone feet, and vacuum tube and solid state output sections that can be changed through the remote or by a button on the front panel. Other enhancements include a dimmer light control for the display, C-core power transformer, fully regulated power supplies, RS 232 port control for custom installation systems, and HDCD decoding with Cary DSP-300 digital filter. Δεν μπόρεσα να βρω πάντως εάν έχει ψηφιακές εισόδους, (ομοαξονική/οπτική/USB). Εάν έχεις κάποιο link στείλε το σε παρακαλώ...

Σχόλιο:Αρχίζει να διαφαίνεται μία τάση στους κατασκευαστές να εξοπλίζουν πλέον τα κορυφαία Disc Players, τις ναυαρχίδες τους και με ψηφιακές εισόδους (ομοαξονική/οπτική), για ν' ανταπεξέλθουν στον ανταγωνισμό των DAC's. Η USB πάντως εδώ δεν εξυπηρετεί κανονικά PC Audio, αλλά απλά την αναπαραγωγή αρχείων από αποθηκευτικά μέσα και iPod.
