Νομίζω ότι το παρακάτω τα λέει όλα ...
Και εγώ που απλά κλαίω τα λεφτά μου.
For normal over the air tv program's its not too bad,
Banding is apparent for sport (football and f1) currently watching the F1 in HD now and banding is visible both horizontally and vertically.
Football pitch banding is still present also.
Tru motion must be disabled as it causes terrible artefacts and judder.
Local dimming causes the banding, but without it blacks are very washed out.
Close ups on game shows etc causes sever banding on people's faces (vertically) when local dimming is enabled on high, it does lessen when you lower the local dimming to low or off, but blacks worsen.
Now may sound sound bad, but in all honestly, Id be willing to live with it if the other issues were resolved.
However 3D movies etc will cause issues depending on where you watch them from. If you send them @ 60hz you'll get 3:2 pull down judder and in 3D that can give you a serious headache and be a very unpleasant judder/stutter fest depending on the movie. That said, some people arnt that sensitivd to pull down as mentioned above.
If you use sky 3D you'll have issues , depending on what you want to achieve. The 3D settings for 3D (sbs) are disabled under some circumstances (hdmi pc label @ 24hz etc)
It all depends how sensitive you are you these effects and what level of quality you expect for your money.
If your going to buy this tv just to watch tv, Then that's serious over kill. I think the 670 would be a better choice, it costs £2000 less and is basically this tv with all the features disabled.
Considering we need to disabled all these settings to get it to work correctly, you'd be jut as well getting the 670 and saving a fortune...
It all really depends...
If LG can fix all of the above issues... In all honesty, This tv would be fantastic. However, at the moment, it fails in virtually every area is was designed for.
So in short,
If you just want to watch tv on this tv, buy a 670 as its basically this tv with all the extras turned off.
If you want a serious media hub and home theatre focal point... Well.. If LG fix these issues, but this tv. If not aviode it like the world avoided the 980T!
