Alright after a few requests on how to do this I've decided to write a guide for getting digital tv and analouge tv working together in media center, and i also thought I'd clear up wixkidders guide for a few people.
Notes:
This guide works for both MCE 2005 and Vista MCE
I can confirm this works on hybirds eg. 1 hybrid tuner watching analog then change to dtv.
This guide works with more then the supported 2 tuners.
The guide is very similar to wixkidders guide but with a bit more detail and for people that had trouble with his guide I will include instructions for paytv as well.
Alright first lets gets started.
1. First of all you need to set up the Guide.There are a few options availiable but I use FreeEpg, you can get it here x[/FONT][FONT="], Go to the downloads section, create an account then download and install client software. Congratulations you should now be able to configure a guide.
2. Make sure you have the latest drivers for the tuner(s) you are using
3. Next start up media center and go to settings>tv>guide>set up guide listings,and follow the instructions when you are presentented with the option of which guide to use...
if using paytv pick the appropiate option.
if using dtv and atv dont pick an option such as Free to Air DTV as when you rerun the setup for atv this option wont be present so pick the foxtel basic option.
4. Continue Setting up Digital TV and make sure all channels work.
and have the appropiate guide listings. close media center
5. Next run regedit and save the reg settings for the DTV card by right clicking and selecting export on
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Media Center\Service\Video\tuners\xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}\ {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}
Then go back one key then settings and export TV Config.
6. Next, go back to the services key in regedit see what guide it uses by checking \services\epg currentepg.
7. Copy the eml and sdf that matches the reg settings for epg to the desktop.
The currentepg is located in...
MCE 2005: Documents and Settings\all users\application data\microsoft\ehome\epg
Vista MCE: (still to add)
8. Now setup media center for either Analog TV or foxtel
Analog TV: First you need to install this plugin.......so mce can detect the analog card then setup the guide making sure you chose the foxtel basic again then continue to tuning the channels you may get more then one of each channel depending on the tuner,then you need to mannually assign guide listings
Foxtel: Setup Through AV with IR Blaster
Make sure the channels work and guide listings are correct then close Media Center.
9. Copy eml and sdf saved to the desktop file back to
MCE 2005: Documents and Settings\all users\application data\microsoft\ehome\epg
Vista MCE: (Still to Add)
Edit registry to match the file name \services\epg currentepg.
10. Now add the DTV and TVconfig back to the registry by clicking on the two reg files on the desktop. Set the watch and record orders as perferred

PayTV:1,1,4,1
Analog TV:1,1,0,1
12. Open media center and check to see if DTV is working as if was before.
13. Now you will have "add missing channels" button in settings>tv>guide. add channels accordingly for Pay TV. For analog tv add the required channels check to see they appear in the guide, next rescan the channels and you will automatically find the digital channels then it will find the analog ones again. edit the channels according to your setup
14. Add all required channels and add listing to the channels.
15. Enjoy Analog TV and DTV at the same time.
