Dream Multimedia is to display a protoype of the newest addition to its Dreambox range at the Cabsat show in Dubai on Tuesday.

The DM7020 HD has an OLED display and can take up to two plug and play tuners with a DVB-S2 tuner supplied. Connections include twin CI slots and smartcard readers, one front and two rear-mounted USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI input, two Scarts, an Ethernet port and eSATA for external hard drives. An internal 3.5in drive can also be fitted.

It comes with Enigma2 firmware pre-installed and is expected to go on sale this spring.

- USB 3.0 δεν θα έχει ! Τα 3 USB 2.0 τι να τα κάνουμε;

- 1000 ethernet ? ούτε να το συζητάω ε;

Το να υπάρχει χώρος για 3,5 δίσκο πάει να πει πως θα τον χρησιμοποιήσουμε για αποθήκευση, το να μη μπορούμε "εύκολα" να μεταφέρουμε αυτά που γράφουμε ή αυτά που θέλουμε να δούμε από το δέκτη χωρίς γρήγορα interfaces πόσα (-) πρέπει να τους ρίξω πάλι;

Τουλάχιστον θα έχει 2 CI & 2 readers κάτι είναι και αυτό, αλλά με NOVA & (Π)ΟΤΕ μάλλον αχρείαστα θα είναι και αυτά για μας.

Εγώ πάντως δεν αλλάζω τον DM800 μέχρι να καταλάβει η DREAM πως πρέπει να ακολουθεί την τεχνολογία και ως προς το Hardware, όχι μόνο προς τις τιμές που πάντα είναι υψηλές !

ps: Ξέρεις κανένα δέκτη που να έχει κάτι απ αυτά..;

Όχι αλλά ξέρω πως οι άλλοι δέκτες με αντίστοιχα πράγματα που προσφέρει η Dream είναι αρκετά φθηνότεροι. Καλό είναι να μην έρθουμε στην αντιπαράθεση του ότι προσφέρει "άλλα" πράγματα.

Τώρα μιλάμε καθαρά για το Hardware.

και στο φινάλε δε μπορεί να πρωτοτυπήσει; πρέπει να τα φορέσουν άλλοι κατασκευαστές πρώτοι;

Τελικά ο 7020HD είναι καλύτερος απο τον 800se HD?.
'Eχει και αυτός έγχρωμο OLED Display?...και τον γρήγορο επεξεργαστή του 8000?....ή όχι?
Dvd-t tuner για digea υπάρχει υποστηριζόμενο απο dreamultimedia ή και πάλι θα καταφεύγουμε σε usb tuner?...

Και μόνο που θα σηκώνει 2 tuners αρκει για να πεις ότι έιναι καλύτερος.

αυτό τι πάει να πει τώρα; Υπάρχει dvb-T tuner που κουμπώνει σε dreambox, αλλά τώρα αν θες και πιστοποίηση από digea :ROFLMAO:

Φαίνεται κάπου να ρωτάω ότι το tuner πρέπει να είναι πιστοποιημένο απο Digea?:BDGBGDB55:

Εγώ λέω κάνα 600-κο θα ‛χει σίγουρα! Οπότε (και ΑΝ μαντεύω καλά) οι vu+duo θα είναι still άνετοι :silly:

Dream presents DM7020 HD in Dubai

World premiere at Cabsat Show! Dream Multimedia, the leading supplier of Linux-based set-top boxes, will be presenting a prototype of the DM7020 HD in Dubai. Attendees of the trade show can get an idea of the new HDTV Dreambox from 8. to 10. February at booth S1-J11 in Sheikh Saeed Hall 1.
The DM7020 HD stands out for its flexible tuner conception. The Dreambox holds two sockets for plug-and-play tuner modules, so the consumer can use it either for digitale satellite, cable or antenna reception. The DM7020 HD comes equipped with one exchangeble DVB-S2 tuner module ex works.
The front panel takes the spotlight on the brillant OLE-Display. Besides, the DM7020 HD provides two common interface slots as well as two smartcard readers and one USB 2.0 connection. According to all HDTV Dreamboxes the DM7020 HD bases upon Enigma2, Dream’s especially developed operating system.
Apart from two USB 2.0 connections, the back panel adorns a HDMI and 10/100 Mbit ethernet interface as well as two Scart sockets and an eSATA connection in order to add an external harddrive to the Dreambox. It can also be equipped with an internal 3,5” HDD. The DM7020 HD should be available in spring this year. The RRP is not yet known.
Dream spokesman Alpaslan Karasu: “The DM7020 HD is the ideal addition to our HDTV portfolio. Due to its flexible tuner conception it can be used for any receive path. A second tuner module can be easily put on the free socket. It’ll be automatically installed after booting the Dreambox up.”

Καμιά ιδέα για τη τιμή του εδώ?
Νομίζω είναι καλή λύση για την Ελλάδα τώρα, έχοντας δυνατότητα 2 δεκτών, για να μη γεμίζουμε το σπίτι μας με κουτιά, τηλεκοντρόλ και τροφοδοτικά...
