Μια ακόμα αξιόλογη επιλογή τίθεται στη διάθεση μας. Ο διάδοχος του 8800 είναι PVR Ready δίνοντας μας τη δυνατότητα εγγραφής σε εξωτερικό σκληρό δίσκο.
Με τον προκάτοχο υπήρχε η δυνατότητα χρήσης εναλλακτικού-ανεπίσημου λογισμικού με διευρυμένες δυνατότητες αποκωδικοποίησης. Προφανώς τα ίδια θα ισχύουν και για αυτόν.
