Gemini 5.0 for DM8000, DM800 & DM500 HD

This weekend it is so far, we will release the new Gemini-Images!
Gemini 5.0 Images for the DM800, for the DM8000 and the first Time for the DM500HD.

Essential is the switch to the OE Version 1.6 - where is a newer Kernel used, which ie. shortens the boot time a lot. Because of this reason, we also did a version jump to 5.0.

Because till now there is no newer Kernel available for the DM7025, wi made no 5.0 for the DM7025. But no Panic, if DMM provides a newer Kernel for the 7025, we will make DM7025 images again!

New:
* Adaptions for 500HD
* Change to OE1.6, new kernel version
* FTP-Mounts - Mounts FTP-Servers as directories into the system (BP->Extras->FTP-Mount)
* new widget, animations (GIFs) in the skin
* The expert line in the infobar can be configured now
* Standby for USB-Harddisks (Attention: Doesn't work with all conrtolers)
* Device-Manager partially very strong revised


Fixes + Updates:
* Email-Checker fixed, can handle Googlemail accounts again, and no Enigma2 crash if no SSL-Connection can be done.
* The Stream-Traffic-Info should work better now on HD-Channels
* Weather
* Selectable quickbuttonfunctions extended
* see CVS


Important:
Attention on some harddisks the new kernel may cause problems.

On the DM8000 from the beta-series, a security chip update will maybe make a second boot necessary.

Το έβαλα στον serverάκο. Μια χαρά είναι με πολύ ωραίο interface από αρχή. Κατέβασα και έπαιξε την Avon κατευθείαν με CCam 2.1.4. Για μη-BA δέκτη μου κάνει μια χαρά. Θα σας πω για σταθερότητα και άλλες δυνατότητες αργότερα.

Cannot access(Read or Copy) any avi files stored on DM800 hdd, mkv or any other extentions plays just fine.

Είναι γνωστό πρόβλημα.
Θα επιστρέψεις προσωρινά σε προηγούμενο Image.

Τελικά με cccam 2.1.3 και 2.1.4 μου κάνει μερικές φορές σπασίματα. Μιλάω απλά να διαβάζει την κάρτα. Θα δοκιμάσω και με 2.1.1 που στον 500άρι πήγαινε σφαίρα.

Τι να σας πω εγώ στον Drembox 8000 έβαλα το Dream-Elite και πάει σφαίρα..
Νομίζω ότι το συγκεκριμένο image είναι μακράν καλύτερο από τα υπόλοιπα.

Αφού το μόνο που θέλεις είναι να διαβάζει την κάρτα τί το θέλεις το CCcam ?

εγώ που το φόρεσα προχθές κανενα πρόβλημα...ίσως λίγο αργό άλλα δεν ξέρω αν φταίει το image.

Μια ενδιαφέρουσα αλλαγή έχει γίνει σχετικά με τις usb συσκευές και πλέον δε χρειάζεται να φορτωθούν τα διάφορα kernel modules που ήταν απαραίτητα στις προηγούμενες εκδόσεις.

Χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα το Smargo Smartreader. Πλέον δε χρειάζεται τα usb modules, αλλά...

1. Πρέπει να αλλάξουμε το mode του smargo από Dreambox σε Normal (από ένα pc χρησιμοποιώντας αυτό)
2. Πλέον πρέπει να αναφερόμαστε σε αυτό στα διάφορα config files όχι όπως πριν (/dev/usb/tts/0, /dev/usb/tts/1 κτλ) αλλά ως /dev/ttyUSB0, /dev/ttyUSB1 (ανάλογα σε ποια usb θύρα είναι).

Επιβεβαιώνω λοιπόν ότι οι αλλαγές αυτές είναι απαραίτητες, δουλεύουν και έχουν και πιο σταθερό αποτέλεσμα (η κάρτα 93b του Sky IT διαβάζεται με την πρώτη προσπάθεια μέσω oscam, ενώ στην προηγούμενη κατάσταση υπήρχαν περιπτώσεις που έπρεπε να βάλω-βγάλω την κάρτα αρκετές φορές μέχρι να ανοίξει)

Ουτε εγω με Dream Elite BH 1.3.3 στην flash.. , προφανώς παρότι 1.6 ΟΕ ιματζ και τα δύο, το gemini 5 ειναι παλαιότερο και υπάρχει ασυμβατότητα
