:HTEHETH63: [B]Hi folks, Those running OMV from a USB pen drive will/should be aware that it'll fail over time due to ongoing write activity. The following commands will clone said pen drive, which I guess is worth doing for an interim solution. I've cloned a couple while I wait for a small, cheap HDD to arrive. Hope this helps... straight copy: Code: dd if=/dev/sda1 of=/dev/sda2 substitute sda1 and sda2 for source and destination respectively save to file: Code: dd if=/dev/sda1 of=~/filename replace 'filename' with file name of choice restore from file: Code: dd if=~/filename of=~/dev/sda1 replace 'filename' with file name of choice all of these have to be done as root.
