Olympus Digital Cameras - Advice

Hi,
I would like to ask you experts a couple of questions about Olympus Digital Cameras...I am not an expert photographer and I want to purchase a good digital compact without spending too much money.
Here my questions:
1) which is the substantial difference between the Olympus Digital series named EASY (FE-...) and the Stylus one (μ840 - m1010 etc...)
2) why should I choose an Olympus instead of a Canon or a Nikon?

I want to underline that regarding these cameras I like the design, the fact that are slim and small, that have a good display and very high optical zooms!(you don't find a 7x on nikon/canon models)
I was thinking about the μ1060 please advice!!!!!!!!!

Hello my friend.

1. The Olympus FE-XX(X) series are cheapier olympus models than mju series. It has inferior quality optics and plastic body. The mju series also have bigger optical zoom (usually x5 up to x7).
2. Nobody ever said that you better choose olympus than a nikon or canon. In fact canon has the ixus series with plenty benefits and good value for money. Ixus models have stabilisation, wide angle lens and very good video. I think that canon ixus is much stylish and attractiveness than olympus FE series.

Finally μ1060 model is a good model with 3'' display, duble stabiliser, face detection and nine frames per second shooting.
