Εϊχα μια ανταλλαγή με την iZotope: Performing any time-domain processing such as sample-rate conversion will create aliasing in the frequency domain, this is true of both up and down sampling. Aliasing can be easiest to recognize when down-sampling since frequencies above the Nyquist point are reflected back into the audible range. What is good to note is that this reflection also manifests itself when up-sampling, however it creates a reflection above the previous sample-rate's Nyquist point as opposed to below it. This is easiest to see when processing a sine sweep or similar linear function, but if you look closely at this sound file you'll notice that what's being generated in the 33k range is a mirror image of the intended audio. Normally this issue is solved by using a very steep filter to remove the aliased data in the frequency domain. Looking at his up-sample settings your reader is using far too shallow of a filter. You can even see that the re-sample module is displaying a red line labeled aliasing which specifically warns him/her of exactly what is being found in the resultant file. Given his settings this is expected behaviour, I suggest using a steeper filter to prevent this mirroring.
