Samsung LE52M86 or something smaller?

First of all i want to say hello to all of u and a happy new year. I am sorry for not writing in greek but I am not very good at them. I am very confused and I cant make my mind, I am thinking about the Samsung 52M86 wich costs 2900 euros were I live ( I am from Cyprus ) the problem is that I am also thinking about the 46 inch model ( 2200 euros ) but I am not sure about my viewing distant wich is about 3.5 – 4 meters. Is the 46 inch model going to be ok or should I go for the 52 inch. I am going to use the TV for viewing DVDs and NOVA and very little gaming. I have been to a lot of shops but non of them have 52 inch TVs in the show rooms ( 46 and smaller ) so I couldn’t compare the 52M86 with other TVs but in my eyes the M86 was superb. By the way feel free to sagest other models and other brands but only LCDs. Thanks for your time and I am looking forward for your answers.

I think that the brand, as well as, the series of the tv suggest a good choise. On the other hand, we can't be very positive since we are not familiar with the prices in Cyprus. I would suggest the 46" though.

46 inch will be fine for yours viewing distant.

I also agree that the 46" is the ideal size,and as etien pointed out look also at W3000

Thanks for replying guys :smile: , I was thinking about the W3000 most of u guys here think that is better than the M86 and that is comparable with the F86 ( wich btw here in Cyprus the 46 inch model costs as much as the M86 52 inch model 2900 euros , and that’s way too much for a 46 TV ) but I haven’t seen it from up close yet coz no one has it in stock here and I have to order it to see it wich means I have to pay for it first . But if u guys think is better who am I to say otherwise . By the way do u know of a good shop in Greece that delivers TVs in Cyprus? The way I see it I can get a much better TV from there with the money I can spend. Any way..wich one? M86 or W3000? opcorn:

Dear friend i am an owner of the Sasmung 52M86 and i am very satisfied with it.Picture quality is very good specialy with hd signals and of course with bluray and hddvd is superb.
