Μετά από 3 αποτυχίες γιατι όλα ήθελα ή με το μήνα ή online account με το masterpass έβαλα το SafeInCloud

Δεν θέλει email account. Βάζεις απλά masterpass.

Μπορείς να μην έχεις ενεργοποιήσει sync ή να βάλεις ένα από τα διαθέσιμα ή webdav.

To έβαλα με HTTP και το local όνομα του DS918 και ανέβασε κανονικα το db file στο nass.

Για HTTPS θέλει export το synology certificate και import στο PC. Θα το δοκιμάσω άλλη μέρα αν και τα sync θα τα κάνω μόνο Local. (https://www.synology.com/en-global/...w_to_access_files_on_Synology_NAS_with_WebDAV)

Αυτό είναι το μόνο που έχει και import από το HandySafe Pro.

Για windows είναι free και για android είναι

2) Family Pro Version - Can be shared with up to 5 members of Google Play Family Library - $7.99 One-time payment

Το (1) είναι αν καταλαβα καλά σε όλες τις συσκευες με το ίδιο account σου. Εγώ που όλες στο σπίτι της έχω με το ίδιο δεν χρειάζομαι το (2).

Αν δεν μου κάνει θα δω και το Enpass.

αλλά δεν περνάει το validation του certificate για HTTPS.

Τα κατάφερα. Ήθελε νέο self signed Certificate γιατί το υπάρχον είναι για το synology.com (ενώ τώρα θέλει για το όνομα που έχει τώρα το DS918).

Τελικά ήταν αρκετά απλό.

Πέρασε αυτόματα το root certificate με εκτέλεση του, κλότσισε ο Nortonας αλλά το έβαλα ignore και συγχρόνισε με HTTPS.

Έχω βάλει το local όνομα του Synology για να συγχρονίζω μόνο μέσω του VPN ή WIFI.

Είδα ότι ο Νορτον το έχει στις ασφαλές εφαρμογές χωρίς να μεταδιδει στοιχεία (συσκευής κτλ) σε άλλα σημεία. Έχει και 500.000 εγκαταστασεις αν θυμάμαι καλά. Μάλλον θα το κρατήσω.

Όταν κάνεις αλλαγές σου κρατάει και history, οπότε βλέπεις και το προηγούμενο που είχες (εκτός αν το κάνεις clear).

O συγχρονισμός και με ταυτόχρονες αλλαγές στην ίδια εγγραφή μιάζει να παίζει σωστά (αν και το σενάριο αυτο δεν θα παίξει στην πράξη).

Επαναφορά από το backup σε προηγούμενη εικόνα για να παίξει πρέπει να σβηστεί η βάση από το synology γιατι επαναφέρει το backup αλλα μετά βρισκει πιο προσφατα ενημερωμένες εγγραφες στο synology και τις φέρνει πίσω.

Έβαλα το Video Station. Για δοκιμή του έβαλα 7 σειρές μόνο να σκανάρει.

Στο Sherlock του BBC δεν μπορεί να βρει τα sessons 3 & 4 και δεν έχει τρόπο να του πω ποιο είναι το κάθε ένα.

Επίσης δεν κατάφερα να το κάνω να παίξει τους εξωτερικούς υπότιτλους (αν και τους βλέπει και τους επιλέγω). Το ίδιο και με τους αυτόματα downloaded από το opensubtitles (αυτό που κατέβασε είναι το ελληνικό αλλά δεν το παίζει πάλι).

Το μόνο καλό είναι ότι ενώ η TV δεν υποστηρίζει κάτι σχετικό, το DS Video του κινητού μπορεί να το στείλει για παίξιμο στην TV (LG WebOS).

Και δοκίμασα μετά να κλείσω το wifi του κινητού, και παίζει ακόμα, που σημαίνει ότι δεν παρεμβάλλεται το κινητό.

Η εικόνα και η ποιότητα είναι καλή χωρίς σπασίματα (1080p δοκίμασα) και μπορείς να σώσεις transcoded έκδοση ή και να την κατεβάσεις στο κινητό για off-line.

Ο Media Server που είχα βάλει (πριν το Plex) ήταν οκ σε όλα αλλά απλά δεν έφτιαχνε εξώφυλλα για να έχεις κάτι ωραίο και εύχρηστο.

Δεν έχω καταλάβει τι έχουμε και αν με firmware update γίνεται αλλαγή στο F1 stepping που αναφέρουν.

Έστειλα μαιλ για το αν μπορώ να αγοράσω το warranty extension τώρα που ειμαι στον 1ο από τα 3 χρόνια της κανονικής εγγύησης, και μου απάντησαν αρνητικά. Μόνο ταυτόχρονα με την αγορά του μηχανήματος.

Το firmware δεν διορθώνει το stepping. Αυτή είναι καθαρά εργοστασιακή διαδικασία.

Βασικά, το πρόβλημα με τα τσιπ με Β1 stepping ότι σταματούν ξαφνικά να λειτουργούν κάτω από συγκεκριμένες συνθήκες χρήσης.

Τώρα, με βάση την τελευταία ανακοίνωση της Synology, αυτό το πρόβλημα δεν υφίσταται επειδή οι συσκευές της τηρούν τις βασικές προϋποθέσεις (λειτουργία στα 1,8V, ύπαρξη μπαταρίας στο κύκλωμα, απουσία SD κάρτας) για να μην υπάρξει "ξαφνικός" θάνατος του τσιπ.

Αυτά μέχρι τώρα κατάλαβα.

Καλησπέρα,

Ψάχνω να πάρω το 920+ μαζί με 2 x 8T δίσκους. Γνωρίζει κανείς το πρόβλημα με την intel εχει διορθωθεί σε αυτο το μοντέλο? Επιπλέον να πάρω δίσκου WD RED or WD RED PRO or IRONWOLF ? Γενικά στο υφιστάμενο ΝΑΣ που εχω ειμαι happy με τους WD RED αλλά λέω μηπως να πάω σε κάτι πιο αξιόπιστο. Οι δίσκοι σε ταχύτητα 7200rpm θα ακουγονται περίσσοτερο απο τους 5400rpm ?
