----------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a DS918+. In my installation I have installed 3 drives (8TB each), in one Storage Pool (SHR) with one ext4 volume. All the storage space is allocated in this volume. The Storage Pool has the attribute "Multiple Volume Support = YES" If I add one more 8TB drive in the existing Storage Pool, I will be able to create a new volume with btrfs file system ? Will the new volume be distributed in all drives (with SHR data protection for 1-drive fault tolerance) ? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- If you just add the HDD then you will have 24TB of usable space. So you could then create a new 8TB volume with btrfs. Should you have any further questions, comments or suggestions for us, please contact us at any time.
