Next-gen tv tech,, it goes by many names, including QD-LED, NanoLED, QDEL, QD-EL, or electroluminescent quantum dots.
Some believe that the technology could someday replace OLED.
This next-generation self-emissive technology features QD RGB pixels emitting light directly through current drive without the need for OLED.

Το λέει ο συγκεκριμένος οτι δεν πρόκειται να προχωρήσει η micro-led τεχνολογία.Μας έχουν ζαλίσει εδώ και 6-7 χρόνια , όλο εντυπωσιακά demo δείχνουν αλλά για την consumer αγορά τίποτα απολύτως.Έχουν πρόβλημα με τα ελαττωματικά panel που είναι πολλά και αυξάνουν το κόστος.
 
Το τεράστιο πρόβλημα με τα micro-LED είναι το κόστος και ο χρόνος κατασκευής στη γραμμή παραγωγής.
Για μια οθόνη 4K, χρειαζόμαστε περίπου 8 εκατομμύρια LEDs.

Στο μέλλον, θα μας απασχολήσουν οι καινούργιες τεχνολογίες, είτε θα λέγεται Micro-LED, QDEL, ή PHOLED,
γιατί τα οφέλη είναι σημαντικά όσο μεγαλώνουν οι ίντσες ή να το διατυπώσω καλύτερα οι υπάρχουσες τεχνολογίες
και κυρίως OLED είναι σημαντικά πιο ακριβές όσο ανεβαίνουμε σε ίντσες.
Κακά τα ψέματα, πόσο έχει βελτιωθεί η ποιότητα εικόνας από τις 50άες Plasma της Panasonic της προηγούμενης δεκαετίας;
Το κόστος και η απόδοση στις μεγαλύτερες ίντσες είναι το κύριο ζήτημα.
Ένα καλό πλάνο θα ήταν να καταφέρουμε σε δέκα χρόνια να δούμε οθόνες 120" με κόστος ενός μηνιαίου μισθού
να καταργηθούν τελείως οι προβολείς.

Θεωρώ ότι είναι πολύ πιθανό να δούμε οθόνες Μicro-LED σε σινεμά σε εφαρμογές όπως το Las Vegas Sphere,
πριν το δούμε στα σπίτια μας.

[hdtvtest.co.uk]...We pick the tv that impressed us the most at CES 2025, choosing mainly from the Hisense 116UX RGB-Mini LED LCD tv, the LG G5 & the Panasonic Z95B with 4-layer tandem WRGB WOLED panel, as well as the Samsung S95F RGB QD-OLED with EL gen 3 technology (except 83-inch model).
