All members of the Amarra family will be available for critical evaluation, providing easy
computer playback of high resolution files for any budget. Amarra version 2.1 and Amarra MINI
version 2.1 will be shown publicly, with release targeted for November of this year.

Amarra 2.1 improves on the analog-like sound quality of previous versions, with new features
and a new playback mode. The new feature set includes the greatly anticipated RAM–based
cache playback. Cache play is true memory reproduction for all play modes, including playlists
and CDs, and yields sterling gapless listening, free of hard disk access for music file reads.

To accommodate the many high resolution download services now on line, Amarra 2.1 also
includes native FLAC support. For listeners who want to actively shape their sound, advanced
equalization has been added, helping to dial in room correction, timbral adjustments and
frequency–based problem solving. Amarra 2.1 also includes a choice of two redithering
algorithms, Sonic Studio’s proprietary shaped TPDF dither, and iZotope’s MBIT+.

Also on tap for the show are the first public demonstrations of two new products from Sonic
Studio, Amarra Vinyl™ and Amarra Complete™. Amarra Vinyl provides all of the capabilities of
Amarra with a complete vinyl to tracks workflow. It combines stereo recording up to 192 kHz,
with full 4 band Sonic EQ™ and a select set from the award winning NoNOISE II™ restoration
suite.
