Δεν υπάρχει ακόμα ανακοίνωση με τις αλλαγές που φέρνει...

I can confirm that with "Shoot 'em Up" in the PS3, the audio now lists as "DTS-HD MA" as opposed to just plain old "DTS" and instead of the solid 1.5Mbps from before, cycles between 3.0 and 7.0 Mbps and is playing in full 7.1.

It sounds -AWESOME- video my HDMI receiver.

Also, "Reservoir Dogs" lists as "DTS-HD HR" and is playing at fixed 3.0 Mbps. Previously was "DTS" at a fixed 1.5Mbps.

I haven't even looked at the store yet, but based on the DTS-HD support, the store could be broken or totally suck and 2.3 would still be the best firmware yet, as far as I'm concerned.

Tried DTS-MA HD with I, Robot and all I can say is Woah! Wife was sleep so I had to keep the volume a bit lower than normal but the bitrate hung up around 5Mbps. Very nice indeed. Rocks!

It's perfect (minus the non-loading images). It is extremely quick (faster loading than XBL). It is very responsive (you press a button and the system reacts - no delay). The animation after you press X or O are very well done. And it has a very elegant, Sony-like feel overall.

This is exactly what PSN needed.

Μόνο για το store λέει ...τα νέα φορμάτ όμως επιβεβαιώθηκαν!



Το νέο PS Store είναι σαφώς καλύτερο και πιο γρήγορο... υπάρχουν κατηγορίες όμως που δεν έχουν ολοκληρωθεί ακόμα, λείπουν icons κτλ...

 
παιδια παιζουν τα video apo mkv2vob με τη 2.30?
επιβαιβεωστε παρακαλω.τελικα οχι bitstream e?.
 
γιατι ρε γαμωτο γιατι καθε φορα που βγαινει αναβαθμιση εγω ειμαι 500χλ μακρια απο το δικο μου πσ3.
ως το βραδυ θα περιμενω με αγωνια να ποσταρεις αμεσως ε

Δεν πειράζει....λες και οι εγγραφές είναι 7.1;
Βάζεις το Neo 6 από τον ενισχυτή και παίζεις τα back surround ηχεία με το σήμα που παίρνουν τα πλαϊνά.

Update features (ver 2.30)

Κατέβασε το firmware v2.30 για το PS3 από εδώ.


Other new or revised features in version 2.30

* Blu-ray Disc playback now supports DTS-HD Master Audio™ and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio™ output.*

* The PS3™ system does not support playback of DTS-ES and DTS 96/24 for DVD-Video or DTS-ES Matrix for Blu-ray Discs.

Note:

* This system software update includes all features contained in previous versions.
* The new system software will preserve any settings previously made to the PLAYSTATION 3.
* Depending on the software title, you may not be able to play without first updating the PS3 system software.
* Do not perform updates using any data other than the official update data provided by Sony Computer Entertainment over a network or on disc media, and do not perform updates by methods other than those described in the product documentation or in this site. If an update is performed using data from another source, by another method, or with a PS3 system that has been altered or modified in any way, the PS3 system may not operate properly and may not be able to install the official update data. Ωχ σοβαρά; δηλαδή έτσι και βάλεις την special edition του Αρχοντα που έχει DTS-ES τι θα κάνει; δεν θα χει ήχο;
