Bοηθαει το παρακατω?

How to Use the USB NTV550 Recovery Menu?

Using the USB NTV550 Recovery Menu
1. Download the zipped firmware
2. Extract the contents of the zip file into the root of your USB stick
3. Unplug and then re-plug the power supply of the NTV550
4. Press and hold the front Power switch for at least five seconds
5. The NTV550 Recovery Menu will start
6. Plug-in your USB stick
7. Select [load from usb]
8. Select the firmware you want to apply. This will start the recovery process.
9. After the application and verification succeed, the NTV550 will power down and then restart.

Using the Internet NTV550 Recovery Menu

Optionally, if Internet connection is available, the NTV550 Recovery Menu provides a way to recover from the update server.

1. Boot into the NTV550 Recovery Menu
2. Select [load from server]. The next screen will display the most recent firmware.
3. Select [ok]. This will start the recovery process
4. After the application and verification succeed, the NTV550 will power down and then restart.
No picture is shown on my TV

1. Verify that the NTV550 unit is powered on. Note that after plugging in the unit, the unit remains off until you press the Power button on the front of the unit, right side.
2. Check the LED on the front of the unit:
Orange (solid) Unit is in standby, press <Power> on remote control to wake up
Orange (blinking) Unit is in powering on, screen should appear in <1 min
Green (solid) Unit is fully powered on and you should see a screen

3. Verify that your TV is powered on and set to the correct input source, and that the video connector is securely connected at both ends.
4. By default, NTV550 units for sale in North America are set for a 60Hz display, and units for sale in Europe are set for a 50Hz display. A mismatched display type can result in no picture.

You can toggle the display mode, even if you cannot see the output, as follows:
a. Verify that the LED on the front of the unit shows solid green.
b. Press <Home> on the remote control to ensure the unit is displaying the Main Menu
c. Press <TV Mode> to show the TV Mode menu
d. Press <TV Mode> again to toggle between 50Hz / 60Hz
e. Wait 15 seconds after the second <TVMode> until the display mode is changed
f. If still no picture, press <TVMode> again, and wait 15 seconds for the display mode to be changed

5. If possible, try using a different cable connector to your TV, or a different TV. The NTV550 can connect to TVs using HDMI, component (red, green, blue), or composite (yellow) cables.
6. If your NTV550 was previously displaying a picture, but it is no longer doing so, and you have checked all of the above, you can reinstall the unit’s firmware using the Recovery Screen. To access the Recovery Screen, see How To: Firmware Update in this FAQ.
