Το νέο Firmware 2.0 για το PS3 θα είναι σύντομα κοντά μας...

Φημολογείται ότι θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 30 Οκτώβρη.

Main features of PS3 version 2.00

*Turn your PS3 on and off with PSP Remote play
*A new PLAYSTATION Network category
*A TV Category for those who install PlayTV into their HDD (SCEE only).
*Playlist for Music & Photo
*Content group for Video & Game
*XMB customization (Custom theme & background color setting): This will come with one alternative custome theme. Addition generic themes will be available for download via www.playstation.com with game title themes to follow on Nov 20th, distributed via the Store (PS/PC). The cost of the game themes haven't been decided yet. Guidelines for users to create their own Custom Themes will be distributed via www.playstation.com shortly after the firmware hits.
Information Board: This will be shown in the top right of the screen and include news feeds from Playstation.com as well as store updates. The board came be set to ticker mode, list mode, details mode or disabled.
*Trend Micro Web Security for PS3™ internet browser: This is a parental lock for website viewing that will initially be free but that Trend Micro will later charge for.

Τι να το κάνεις τώρα αυτο? Αφού το κόστος των δίσκων blu-ray είναι μεγάλο. Συν το οτι το κόστος των blu-ray recorders είναι επίσης μεγάλο.

Ας περιμένουμε κανα 6μηνο και βλέπουμε!
 
Εχουμε καιρο ακομη. Σημερα δεν συμφερει να κανεις αντιγραφα ασφαλειας, δεδομενου οτι το κοστος ειναι σχετικα υψηλο.

Οποτε προσοχη στα δισκακια μας.:Banane0:
 
Ας βγει το firmware το καλό και θα δείτε πού θα πάνε οι τιμές στα recorders και στα δισκάκια...
 
δε νομίζω οτι κάτι τέτοιο είναι ικανό να παρασύρει τις τιμές στα δισκάκια και τα μηχανήματα εγγραφης!
 
Το firmware 2.0 για το ps3 θα είναι διαθέσιμο πάρα πολύ σύντομα αφού βγήκε το firmware 3,72 για το psp που περιλαμβάνει την επιλογή remote start του ps3. Όταν αυτό επιλεγεί τότε βγάζει μήνυμα ότι το ps3 πρέπει να είναι με firmware 2.0.

Οι πρώτες 10 είναι δύσκολες, που κάνεις από συνήθεια την προσευχή σου να μην πάει τίποτα στραβά :) ... μετά συνηθίζεις.
 
Χμμμ... Κάτι μας είχαν πει για τις 30 Οκτ. το βράδυ, αλλά που firmware 2.0. Άφαντο. Κι όλα αυτά ενώ ήδη έχει ανακοινωθέι έμμεσα από το 3.72 του PSP... Εκεί στη Sony έχουν ένα μικρό πρόβλημα συγχρονισμού φαίνεται. Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσες οι επερχόμενες αλλαγές πάντως, αν βέβαια είναι όπως φιμολογείται μέχρι στιγμής. Το περιμένουμε πάντως από ώρα σε ώρα πλέον.

Επί του θέματος και σε σχέση με το Profile 1.1 που θα προστεθεί θεωρητικά με το firmware 2.0 του PS3, (το οποίο ουσιαστικά προσφέρει τη δυνατότητα του PiP), ανακοινώθηκε εχτές πως η Panasonic θα είναι και η πρώτη η οποία θα διαθέσει στην αγορά ένα αντίστοιχο player. Πηγή cdrinfo.com, 31 Οκτ.

Panasonic announced today the introduction of the DMP-BD30, the company's first High Definition 1080p Blu-ray Disc player than conforms to the Profile 1.1 specifications of the Blu-Ray disc format. Panasonic claims that DMP-BD30 is the first Blu-ray player to be introduced with Final Standard Profile.

Final Standard Profile (BD-ROM Profile 1.1) is an advanced function added to the Blu-ray standard, which opens the door to new functions such as Picture-in-Picture (which displays a second image in a sub window) and Audio Mixing (allows the consumer to switch the sound between the main and sub windows). However, the player is not BD-ROM Profile 2 capable. BD-ROM Profile 2 will be required for the "BD Live" interactivity that enables downloading special features from the Web, including interactive features. Players that will feature "BD Live" will have to be equipped with an 1GB storage medium (built-in or removable), support BD's Virtual File System (VFS) and of course offer Internet/network connection, Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Audio mixing (secondary audio) capabilities. Most BD player makers are still supporting the Profile 1 specifications although the "grace period" expires today. The majority of the upcoming BD players from Denon, LG, Marantz and possibly Samsung will support the Profile 1.1.
 
Και για όσους ίσος δεν το γνωρίζουν οι αναβαθμίσεις του PS3 εμπεριέχονται και στα παιχνίδια . Πχ πρόσφατα είδα το PRO 2008 να μην παίζει στην 60άρα κονσόλα και να σε προτρέπει να το αναβαθμίσεις πατώντας yes.

Αυτο ακριβως εκανα εγω.Εκανε update το 1.9 μεσω του PES2008.
