Semi-QLED - Dual LED tvs use "mono-chromatic" quantum dots to reduce costs.
In semi-QLEDs we have only one type of quantum dots (green) and one conversion occurs (from blue to green).
Therefore, the missing emission in the red range was entrusted to the "red" diodes. Semi-QLEDs were created only to reduce the cost of production of QLED TVs.
Contrary to the manufacturer's claims, this solution does not significantly improve image quality, but generates problems related to different aging times of blue and "red" LEDs (including the so-called color drift).

At an angle, the colors fade and darken in a typical VA panel,4-domain LCD panel, as you can see in the picture below.
Vertically, this phenomenon is even more intense than horizontally.
The ANSI contrast ratio was 6625:1, which is truly excellent – one of the best among LCD TVs with traditional, i.e. non-multi-zone backlight.
Unfortunately, the joy of high contrast was greatly disturbed by the wrong SDR brightness characteristics: too dark near black and too light in light grays.
On SDR content, the TV uses global dimming in dark scenes, even in filmmaker mode.
Unfortunately, it is not disabled from the user menu, although it can be disabled in the service menu (Note! Changes therein may, however, result in void of warranty.)
