Blackmagic RAW 2.1 adds support for Macs running M1 processors giving you better performance when editing, performing color correction or creating visual effects in post production.
This update adds desktop playback support for Blackmagic RAW clips captured on Video Assist 12G HDR models when using Panasonic Lumix S1H, S1 and S5 cameras, as well as Nikon Z 6II and Z 7II cameras for all Video Assist 12G HDR models. That means when you’re shooting with these cameras, you can connect to Video Assist and record Blackmagic RAW for incredible detail and color throughout the production pipeline.
In addition, this update includes optimized CPU decoding for clips captured by Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K, giving you faster workflow and render times when working with these clips in DaVinci Resolve, especially when working on computers without a dedicated GPU.
