Δηλαδή ΔΕΝ δινει δυνατότητα να στείλεις έτοιμο βίντεο;
πως οι αλλες εταιριίες βαζουν ενα χρωματικό προφίλ,
εδώ μονο φλάτ;
To θέμα, οταν ρυθμίζω στο display settings> HDMI >LUT enabled συνηθως τοι βλέπω σε οθόνη εφαρμοσμένο...
Αλλά... δεν γράφεται αν η εξοδος το μαγνητοσκοπεί ή σε Skype, Zoom etc...

Όταν βάλεις λάτ είναι μονο για display. Για τίποτα άλλο. Ξερεις καμια καμερα να γραφει το πρωτογενές υλικό με λατ απο πάνω ? Μονο μερικοι εξωτερικοι recorders έχουν τετοια επιλογή μια που την ευθύνη δε την έχει η εταιρία που φιταχνει τη καμερα

Επίσης όταν λες χρωματικο προφίλ τι εννοείς; Τα λατ δεν ειναι χρωματικά προφίλ. Μπορούν να σου κανουν ενα approximation αν θες να τεσταρεις κατι αλλα δεν ειναι μετατροπείς για color gamut, color spaces ή gamma.

μα ολη η ουσία του να γραφει prores ειναι να δινει ενα ετοιμο αρχειο προς χρήση με το LUT εφαρμοισμένο. ΑΝ ειναι να χρειάζεται και αυτό επεξεργασία για να φανεί σωστά τοτε γράφεις braw με περισσοτερες δυνατότητες...αλλά χάνεις ολη την αμεσότητα οταν χρειάζεται, δηλαδή σου λέει πάρε και ενα ΑΤΕΜ αν θες αυτη τη λειτουργία...

όχι δεν ειναι ετσι

μπορεις να διαλεξεις απο τα settings της καμερας τι colorspace θες απο το RECORD menu

τα look up tables δεν ειναι για αυτη τη δουλεια, ειναι μονο για display, ΠΟΤΕ δε γραφονται

αν θελει να στειλει video στο Prores τότε βαζει video στο record

αρχειο "έτοιμο" προς χρήση δεν ειναι αρχείο με baked παραλλαγμένα χρώματα αλλά ειναι αρχείο στο colorspace του project ΑΝ δεν γινει grading

αν μονταρεις για τηλεοραση δηλαδη βαζεις VIDEO η EXTENDED VIDEO ετσι ωστε να εισαι σιγουρος οτι εχεις όσο γινεται απο τη χρωματική πληροφορια της κάμερας στο Prores ( το οποιο ετσι κι αλλιως στην καταστρεφει)

ενα LUT επανω σε Prores δημιουργεί παρα πολλά quantization errors στην εικόνα απο τη φύση του για αυτό και απαγορεύεται να γραφτεί πρωτογενές υλικό με baked LUT μεσα στη καμερα

Today we announced DaVinci Resolve 17.4.4 update, which adds improved playback support for decoding and grading Blackmagic RAW 2.3 clips. In addition, this update adds support for browser based authentication when exporting work to Dropbox and YouTube which improves security.

DaVinci Resolve will now use the hardware decoder in Apple silicon systems to speed up the decoding of VP9 video clips. This means you can play back multiple VP9 clips in a multicam timeline more smoothly.

You’ll now also have a wider range of options when encoding and delivering your projects with support for encoding Main10 H.265 on Apple Silicon models. This gives you faster processing speeds and smoother playback when working with Fusion effects such as Text+, making it easier to create project titles.

Today we announced the DaVinci Resolve 17.4.5 update which improves deconstruction of nested timelines for audio tracks. It’s now easier to work collaboratively with Fairlight as you can bring fully edited timelines into a master timeline and they will auto-populate in place onto newly created tracks. This now preserves all aspects of the original edit including track type, FX, automation and bussing.

With this update, Blackmagic RAW 12K files will now decode and render 20% faster on Apple M1 Max for smoother playback and editing. There’s also additional support for decoding 6K and 8K clips from Sony Venice.

For subtitling work, you’ll get improved accuracy with Text+ fonts when working with Mac OS Monterey. Plus you get better text processing when working with 3D text from TrueType fonts so you can work more quickly and precisely create titles for your project. Also, when you import an AAF file with retime or mixed frame rates, this update allows you to import frame accurately ensuring playback matches the original speed adjustments.

Today we released DaVinci Resolve 17.4.6 update which adds support for decoding Nikon RAW files as well as adding a new, easy to select preset for Sony IMF render settings, making it faster to select and render your work in this way.

For Fusion, better handling of 3D renders means that you won’t exceed the available memory when working on Apple Mac models with M1 Max processors. There is also improved stability when using HDR controls to grade your footage on Apple silicon models, enabling you to work more consistently with fewer interruptions.

For audio, when working with clips such as 44.1 or 96KHz, proxies are now stored with the correct sample rate so you get perfect sync with your footage. You’ll also get better Vimeo credential recognition, so when you enter your Vimeo credentials in the preferences section, they will be recognized every time you export directly to Vimeo. This enables you to deliver finished work to your channels more quickly without having to re-enter your details every time.

Αυτό στο fusion tab ήταν απαραίτητο, είχα τρομάξει κάνα δυο φορές έτρωγε όλη τη μνήμη ακαριαία και το μηχανημα τα παίζε...

Tο standalone πως είναι, σε σχέση το ενσωματωμένο στο resolve από απόδοση Μ1;

Additional improvements include a new render preset for the Sony IMF format, greater stability when rendering large 3D models in Fusion using the M1 Max chip, and quite a few audio-related bug fixes. Here’s the complete list of enhancements:

DaVinci Resolve 18 features cloud based workflows for a new way to collaborate remotely. You can host project libraries using Blackmagic Cloud and collaborate on the same timeline, in real time, with multiple users globally. The new Blackmagic Proxy Generator App automatically creates and manages proxies from camera originals. Create a watch folder and new media is automatically converted into H.264, H.265 or ProRes proxies to accelerate editing workflows. You can also switch between camera original footage and proxies in a single click. With Blackmagic Proxy generated proxies, DaVinci Resolve knows where in the file tree to find them, instantly linking to the camera originals in the media pool. Edit with proxies, then relink to camera originals to grade.
The collaboration update also provides major performance enhancements if you are using a secure private network. Get immediate updates of editorial and color changes when collaborating on a remotely hosted project library. Now creative decisions can be made in real time based on the latest changes. You can also live stream your DaVinci Resolve Studio viewer and display on a remote computer monitor, or a reference grading monitor, via DeckLink to anywhere in the world. The low latency, high quality 12-bit image is ideal for remote editing or color grading giving you instant feedback on changes.
This update also features incredible new tools for colorists. Located in the magic mask palette, the new object mask is able to recognize and track the movement of thousands of unique objects. The new depth map effect lets you instantly generate a 3D depth map of a scene to quickly grade the foreground separately from the background, and vice versa, while ultra beauty gives you advanced control over a subject when performing corrective beauty work.
FlexBus is Fairlight’s flexible audio busing and routing system designed for managing high track counts, extensive plug-in processing, perfect synchronization and multiple project deliverables. Now you can effortlessly convert legacy fixed bus Fairlight projects to FlexBus with a single click. The Dolby Atmos deliverable toolset has also been expanded to support rendering of a binaural output from a complex Dolby Atmos mix.
In Fusion, GPU acceleration allows paint brush strokes to be generated and displayed in real time, for a more intuitive approach when performing cover up work or graphic design. Instant visual feedback allows you to assess your work and make corrections in any stroke style or shape. Subtitle support has also been expanded to include TTML and XML timed texts and embedded MXF/IMF subtitles.

Χαμός... Τα πάντα όλα έδωσε.
Το cloud system με τις τιμές του, απάντησε δέοντος στον ανταγωνισμό.
Εξαιρετικό τοcloud pod με έξοδο εικόνας κλπ.
Αναμένω να δω πόσο γρήγορο και ακριβές θα είναι το magic mask, σιγά σιγά θα αντικαταστήσει ανάγκη chroma keying αλλά ακόμα θέλει εξέλιξη.
Επίσης το depthmap & transform compositing δείχνουν πολύ υποσχόμενα. Όπως και οι προσθήκες στο failight elastic wave.
Δεν είδα κάτι όμως για βελτίωση fusion page σε ταχύτητα κ bugs, μόνο μέσα από το edit page για titles.

Είμαι στη μέση ενός project και δεν μπορώ να κάνω αναβάθμιση ακόμα....ελπίζω σύντομα να το δοκιμάσω.


Θέλω κι εγώ να δω το fusion, γιατί είναι το αγκάθι του davinci μέχρι στιγμής.
