Well, because Walter Stanton started working as an engineer for Pickering, and then bought the company, many of their offerings were almost identical, despite the different brands
The Stanton 680/681 series are identical to the Pickering XV-15 series – the 681EEE in Pickering form was known as the Pickering XV-15 1200E, and the bodies were identical – the only major difference was in the brushes attached to the stylus assemblies, and how the styli fitted to the cartridge body. You could (and can still) use either brand of stylus.

Την αγόρασα 10.000 δραχμές. όταν άρχισα να ασχολούμαι με ήχο..
Νομίζω ότι ήταν το αντίπαλο δέος της M44 στα ..χορευτικά εκείνα αξέχαστα χρόνια.

Μια stanton 681 EEE με βελονα "vivid line" , ηρθε συμπτωματικα χτες με ενα πικαπ Pink Triangle PT TOO που μου φερανε για σερβις.
Την ακουσα λιγο σημερα και μπορω να πω οτι δεν ειναι καθολου "κακη" .

Θέλει ξεσκονισμα. Την καθαρίζεις με υγρό ή ιδέα μου είναι;

Δεν είναι σκόνη, δυστυχώς.
Με υγρό δεν την καθάρισα ποτέ.
Αλλά είναι και 15 χρόνων κεφαλή

σαν να είναι κομμένο ή πολύ ραγισμένο το λάστιχο της ανάρτησης

Το ότι ενώ έπαιζε για 15 χρόνια και βάλε έχει ακόμη λάστιχο και βελόνα το λες και επιτυχία.
