Το “7 Days of Apocalypse” είναι ένα 3D survival shooter της StormBASIC, το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε στο App Store!

Η ιστορία: 7 μέρες πριν το τέλος του κόσμου ένας ιός μετατρέπει όλους τους ανθρώπους σε zombies.
Η μόνη ελπίδα είναι η Dr. Kayla Cupper η οποία ανακάλυψε την πηγή της μόλυνσης…

Σκοπός του παιχνιδιού: Προστατέψτε την Cupper μέχριι να αναπτύξει το αντίδοτο του ιού.

To “7 Days of Apocalypse” διαθέτει 2 modes: Survival και History.
- Το Survival mode είναι η κλασική ατελείωτη μάχη με τα zombies και τα ghosts.
- Το Ηistory mode διαθέτει 7 πίστες, μία για κάθε μέρα που απομένει στον κόσμο

Η EA σε πρόσφατη ανακοίνωση της δήλωσε πως το “Need For Speed: Undercover” έρχεται “ΠΟΛΥ σύντομα” στο App store.​

— Worms —​

Σύμφωνα με εικόνες τις οποίες δημοσίευσε το pocketgamer.co.uk, η Team17 ετοιμάζει την iPhone version του δημοφιλούς Worms!!​

Η Team17 είχε ανακοινώσει από πέρυσι την διάθεση της να αναπτύξει το Worms για το iPhone,
ωστόσο μέχρι και σήμερα δεν υπήρχε καμία ένδειξη για το μέλλον του project.​

Τα νέα είναι ευχάριστα και αν κρίνουμε από τις φωτογραφίες μπορούμε να περιμένουμε ένα 2D gameplay το οποίο
χρησιμοποιεί πλήρως την touchscreen - συμπεριλαμβανομένης και της λειτουργίας pinch ‘n’ pull για το zoom.​

— Blimp: The Flying Adventures —​

Η Craneball Studios έδωσε σε κυκλοφορία τα πρώτα screenshots του επερχόμενου “Blimp - The Flying Adventures“.​

Κρίνοντας από τα πρώτα δείγματα αλλά και από το video trailer, μπορούμε να ελπίζουμε σε μία ποιοτική δουλειά.​

Ο χειρισμός του μικρού zeppelin (blimp) γίνεται μέσω tilt controls για την κατεύθυνση (αριστερά-δεξιά) ενώ μέσω touch controls ελέγχετε το ύψος.​

Σύμφωνα με το Joystiq, το δημοφιλές Peggle έρχεται στο iPhone στις 12 Μαϊου!

Το Peggle της PopCap έχει διακριθεί μεταξύ άλλων ως ένα από 5 πιό εθιστικά computer
games όλων των εποχών, από το MSBNC (”Top 5 most addictive computer games of all time“).

Όσοι δεν γνωρίζετε το Peggle μπορείτε να το δοκιμάσετε online στην επίσημη ιστοσελίδα της PopCap: PopCap Online Games.


[Joystiq can excitedly confirm that Peggle for iPhone/iPod Touch will be released onto

Το Drivetrain είναι ένας remote viewer του Trasmission (του γνωστού torrent client), μέσω του οποίου
ο χρήστης έχει την δυνατότητα να παρακολουθεί την πορεία των downloads του, ΧΩΡΙΣ ωστόσο
να παρέχεται η δυνατότητα upload ή download αρχείων torrent…​

Δυστυχώς η εφαρμογή δεν κατάφερε να περάσει τον αυστηρό έλεγχο
του App store, και ο λόγος σύμφωνα με την Apple είναι:​

“This category of applications is primarily used
to infringe copyrights of third parties”​

Πολλές φορές όταν γράφουμε κάτι στο iPhone και περπατάμε ή οδηγούμε (δεν συνιστάται) βρισκόμαστε στο σημείο να χτυπήσουμε κάπου ή γενικότερα να συμβεί κάτι κακό, η νέα εφαρμογή που βλέπετε στην παραπάνω εικόνα μας επιτρέπει να βλέπουμε μέσο της κάμερας του iPhone τι υπάρχει μπροστά μας έτσι ώστε να μην συμβεί τίποτα από τα παραπάνω.

CNET highlights Email ‛n Walk [App Store, Free for a Limited Time], a new application that utilizes the iPhone’s camera and a transparent window to allow users to compose e-mails while keeping an eye on what’s going on front of them.
The idea is simple: start up Email ‛n Walk, type in your subject, and start typing a message. While you write, Email ‛n Walk uses your iPhone camera to show you what’s in front of you so you don’t run into anyone. I took it for a test run outside our offices here in San Francisco and even though it felt a little silly, the app works as advertised. When you’re done, hit send and you’ll be transferred to the iPhone mail app to add recipients and send your e-mail.

As the application’s developers note, users should obviously observe caution while using the application and remain aware of what is going on around them at all times. While the application could certainly be of some use while stationary or possibly walking, attempting to use the application while biking or driving, for example, would be incredibly unwise, needless to say.
