TCL Europe's 2022 TVs
TCL will continue to have separate line-ups for North America and Europe in 2022.
In Europe, consumers can expect to see new C- and P-series models but TCL said that the full line-up has not been finalized.
We are sharing what we know so far.

TCL's high-end C935 will feature a VA LCD panel with miniLED backlight and "thousands of Full Array local dimming zones".
It will also have a low-reflection coating and be powered by TCL's AiPQ video engine.
In addition, C935 features HDMI 2.1 ports with VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for gaming as well as multi-HDR support (HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision IQ) for movie watching and gaming.


TCL's C835 (miniLED zone dimming) and C735 models are the successors to last year's C825 and C725.
From C735 and up you get the 144Hz LCD panel that TCL announced as one of its main new features for 2022.
4K 144Hz signals can be supported over HDMI 2.1.

These are Google TVs that come with Android 11 pre-installed.
With Google TV users get access to popular streaming apps like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Disney+, HBO Max and Netflix.
Google TV has built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant.

TCL will also launch new affordable mid-range Google TVs with the C635, P735 and P635 models.
Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos will be supported from P735 and up.

TCL informed FlatpanelsHD that it no longer has plans to launch QD-OLED TVs based on Samsung Display's panel.
The company's display panel division, CSoT, is developing its own inkjet-printed OLED panel type.

We review the TCL C835 Mini LED TV whose VA LCD panel beats Samsung & Sony in native contrast ratio. Our C83 review sample is the 65-inch TCL 65C835K which is the 3-pin-plug UK model, featuring the same specifications as European versions, i.e. MiniLED backlighting, 288-zone full-array local dimming (FALD), quantum dot enhancement film, Dolby Vision IQ & HDR10+two support, two full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, as well as Google TV (Android 11) interface.

As in the 43-inch model, a hybrid method was used to convert blue light from the backlight.
The conversion to green is carried out mainly by quantum dots, and the conversion to red is carried out by phosphorus TriGain (PFS/KSF).

Είδα χθες στην Έκθεση την TCL 65C935 και εντυπωσιάστηκα. Πραγματικά, πάρα πολύ καλό μαύρο για lcd (με κλειστές κουρτίνες και φώτα). Προφανώς οι πολλές ζώνες ελέγχου του οπίσθιου φωτισμού, κάνουν την διαφορά.​

We measured blacks at 0.04 cd/m2 on an ANSI checkerboard pattern.

As we do with all reviews, we factory reset the TCL C735 and then measured the picture presets to find which is the most accurate to the industry standards out-of-the-box so we can view content as it was mastered and intended to be seen.
The best picture preset for this is Movie as it tries to follow the industry standards for SDR and HDR content.
This means that you can see film and TV material as it was mastered and intended to be seen.

Όπως κάνουμε με όλες τις αξιολογήσεις, επαναφέραμε εργοστασιακά την TCL C735 και στη συνέχεια μετρήσαμε τις προεπιλογές εικόνας για να βρούμε ποια είναι η πιο ακριβής για τα βιομηχανικά πρότυπα εκτός συσκευασίας, ώστε να μπορούμε να προβάλουμε το περιεχόμενο όπως κατασκευάστηκε και προοριζόταν να προβληθεί.
Η καλύτερη προκαθορισμένη εικόνα για αυτό είναι το Movie(Ταινία) καθώς προσπαθεί να ακολουθήσει τα βιομηχανικά πρότυπα για περιεχόμενο SDR και HDR.
Αυτό σημαίνει ότι μπορείτε να δείτε κινηματογραφικό και τηλεοπτικό υλικό όπως και προοριζόταν να προβληθεί.
