The voice of the glorious babe-saver and planet-guardian, Duke Nukem, has recently silently confirmed that Duke Nukem Forever is still in the pipes. While we appreciate the info, we can’t help but wonder about the length of these pipes, as they seem to make the Great Wall of China look impish in comparison.
In a panel at the Music and Games Festival held in Virginia, Jon St. John said how he’s not allowed to speak on the subject, and further reinforced his statement by repeating it to the group of journalists.
Immediately after the crowd reacted with disappointment, St. John introduced a “but” – the kind we always love to hear. St. John added “No, no, don’t be disappointed, read between the lines… why am I not allowed to talk about it?” That’s all he needed to say. I just hope the pipeline doesn’t stretch out to my lifetime, although beginning and ending your gaming habit with Duke wouldn’t be half bad.
It’s well worth noting that Duke Nukem’s Facebook page has recently posted a screenshot named Duke Nukem D-Day, but info is scarce as usual so any claims are out the window. You can check out the screenshot here.
You can see the video here, where Jon St. John does his silent maneuver (not that kind of silent maneuver), and shows that he still has what it takes to make Duke come to life.
