Δηλαδή για να καταλάβω, ας πούμε ότι στέλνεις "καρφωτό" σήμα 1080p@23 στην TV (μέσω PC) και το info της TV λέει 1080p, αυτή κάνει upscale σε 2160p no matter what; Και με τι αλγόριθμους;

The local dimming on the LG UJ7700 is bad.The number of zones is low and each zone spans over a large vertical area. The reaction time is not the fastest we have seen and when turned on in SDR, the local dimming dims the whole screen. Looking at our test video, you can see that the smaller highlights get dimmed a lot. Looking at other aspects that are affected by the local dimming, like the contrast ratio and the black uniformity, it is clear that the implementation of this local dimming is not the best and this is common to most other edge-lit LED TVs. For this TV in particular, the local dimming might cause more harm than good if activated, so it could be a better idea to turn if off or simply set it to 'Low' if you really want to use this feature.

The less accurate RGBW sub-structure means that some straight lines (such as text for PC use) may appear jagged.

We compare and review the picture quality between the Sony A1 (also marketed as the A1E in the USA) vs the LG C7 2017 OLED TV.

Unfortunately due to logistics, we couldn't get our hands on the same screen size at the same time: the Sony A1 is the 65-inch KD-65A1, whereas the LG C7 is the 55-inch OLED55C7V. Still, most of the findings should apply.

*Note: Slight differences in luminance and colour could not be avoided due to camera dynamic range, exposure and angle. Please refrain from making judgement on picture quality based on screenshots in this video.

ναι παντα κανει upscale, αλλιως θα εβλεπες μαυρο στα υπολοιπα pixel. οι αλγοριθμοι αλλάζουν απο εταιρία σε εταιρία και φαντάζομαι είναι μυστικό τους το πως έκαναν τον προγραμματισμό. αν θες να το ψάξεις σε βαθος μπορεις να κοιτάξεις στο ιντερνετ να δεις αρχικα πως κανεις upscale μια απλη εικονα πχ απο 320χ240 σε 640χ480. ειναι κομματι του digital signal processing.

LG 43UJ630V:pseudo Ultra HD (RGB-W subpixel panel structure , M+ panel) LCD - 50/60Hz .
Επίσης στο επίσημο site της LG,στις τεχνικές προδιαγραφές αναφέρεται ο τύπος του πάνελ (M+) ,αλλά και αν είναι 50 ή 100Hz το panel (Refresh Rate).
Ακόμη δεν αναφέρεται ότι υποστηρίζει το φορμά Dolby Vision, Technicolor HDR.
