The EX600 does not offer any dimming room but a simple Adaptive Backlight Dimming to modulate the backlight. In addition to being inefficient, the mechanism causes a loss of legibility in dark scenes, whichever mode is selected, it is better to quickly disable it.

There is also a Clear Motion option that inserts a black image between each frame (BFI), but its use generates a noticeable blinking effect.

The manufacturer is introducing a new media player this year to the interface reviewed and corrected, and the least we can say is that it was time! The only downside, the multimedia support remains unchanged. So we find its qualities including the ability to play content from USB storage media, an SD card and uPnP / DLNA network, and the Samba (SMB) that allows to share content with other DLNA-compatible devices , But also some defects like some limitations on 4K videos.
Multiple audio tracks and subtitles are handled well, with the ability to adjust their size / position / color, not to mention Dolby Digital (but not DTS) compatibility.
Unfortunately, 10-bit HEVC videos whose bitrate exceeds 100 Mbps are still not played back.
For audio playback, the TV supports MP3, AAC, WMA, WMA, FLAC, ALAC and WAV formats up to 192 kHz / 24 bits.
