QUAD II-Classic Integrated Amplifier
Autumn 2009, and QUAD unleash their first Valve Integrated Amplifier on an unsuspecting public....hope you were there at the NAS '09 Show to hear for yourself what all the fuss is about - What if I were to tell you that this 25w KT66 based amplifier was Musical, Punchy, Live, Seemless and Chameleon like in the way in integrates with any loudspeaker ? - Throw in a premium MM / MC Phono Stage and you have a simply staggering performer in every regard.
QUAD's classic range of amplifier and speaker components represent far more than a nostalgic trip down memory lane, each product represents as significant a design statement as their original counterparts.
For connoisseurs, the musicality and velvety richness of a valve power amplifier is without peer, yet component costs and system matching can present hurdles for all but the wealthiest enthusiast.
The QUAD II-Classic Integrated is a perfectly balanced and completely integrated amplifier system, which resolves any issues with system matching, and offers exceptional performance and value within a relatively compact and classically styled chassis.
Performance, as you would expect from one of the most famous names in hi-fi, is nothing short of breathtaking.
The 25watts per channel specified belies their power and ability to drive even difficult loads. The remarkable output transformer design - created by audio legend, Tim DeParavicini, is characterised through it's speed, agility and ability to convey the genuine passion of the live performance.
