Can I create 2 volumes in the same storage pool with a different file system?
After the new addition I will have a storage pool with 4 drives.
The first 16TB is the existing EXT4 volume.
I will be able to create a second volume of 8TB in the same storage pool with a btrfs file system, or you mean I have to create a new storage pool as well.
I don't want to create a new storage pool, because I need protection for the new file system.

Good Morning,
yes you can create 2 volumes with different filesystems on one storage pool. if the storage pool fails (at least 2 hdds in your case) then both volumes are gone since they are based on the same storage pool.
Now that should be fine. As long as you have created your storage pool with the option to support multiple volumes then its fine - you can see this in the storage manager -> storage pool.
