Ότι οι προγραμματιστές της MS, για να προσπεράσουν το shit του marketing, που θέλει να κάνεις 100 κινήσεις για να έχεις πρόσβαση σε πράγματα που παλιά ήταν απλά (βλ. XP), γέννησαν ένα Easter egg για Vista και 7!
Χρησιμοποιώ Windows απ' την εποχή των Win3.1 for workgroups (με coaxial καλώδια δικτύου, 1987 ήταν?) και Office for windows απ' τη v95. Με τα Vista/7 και το Office 2007 χάθηκα. Δεν μπορώ να κάνω στοιχειώδη πράγματα που πριν έκανα "νεράκι".
Άκου εκεί ribbon...(office 2007-2010).
Για μεταξωτές κορδέλλες μιλάνε?
Αλλά βέβαια, πώς θα πουλήσουν κι άλλα? Έχω 2 βιβλιά της MS κάπου 3000 σελίδες σύνολο, "MS Access 2007 Inside/Out" και "MS Excel 2007 Inside/Out" για να μάθω το... ribbon!

Απλα η MS διατηρεί καποια ονόματα reserved απο την εποχη του MSDOS
ιδου τι βρήκα:
I am sure that many people still don’t know that they can’t create a Con folder in windows XP and in some other Operating System.
So Why cannot we create a folder by a name Con? What’s the reason behind it?
It’s pretty simple, Con is a reserved name from the early days from DOS, it stands for the “CONSOLE” I/O device, Since it is already used by the system. If we create one with some evil tricks then the system will get confused. There will be an ambiguity.
Check out other reserved words to understand what are all the reserved words using which you can’t create folders in windows.
Like Con, many other reserve words are there which we can’t create. They are
PRN – It stands for printer.
AUX – It stands for Auxiliary device.
COM0, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9 – They stands for serial ports.
LPT1, LPT2, PRN – They stands for Parallel ports.
NUL - It stands for Bid Bucket.
Did I said that the Con folder can’t be created, what a big typo. Well friends, There’s a evil trick to create a Con folder. Here goes the evil tricks.
Open the Command prompt by Start->Run and type in cmd
Type MD\\.\\C:\CON
C is the drive path, you can change this drive to your own choice of path.
Now Open My Computer and browse through the path where you created the Con folder. surprising huh!!! yeah buddy, you have successfully created a Con folder.
Now try to delete the folder, it won’t get deleted by simple delete option. Better try this:-
To delete the folder, type RD\\.C:\CON
Another method to create Con folder without the use of the Dos.
Create a new folder. Name it Con and press Alt + 255 simultaneously.
Well Alt+255 stands for a blank character in ASCII so it allows you to use this folder name.
Note:- Actually you’ll have to press the number’s of the number pad or else it won’t work. That is, create a new folder, rename it Con but don’t press enter yet. Hold down Alt and type 255 on the number pad and then press enter. (for laptop users, press Fn key and press the letter keys k-i-i to make use of number pad).
The next time when someone asks the question that why can’t we create a folder by name Con, say with confidence that it is not true…

Προφανώς και πρόκειται για κάποιο bug προγραμματισμού το οποίο η MS διόρθωσε στα 7ρια οπότε και σε μένα δε πιάνει
εχει να κάνει με το pattern των λεξεων και οχι τις ιδιες τις λέξεςις καθαυτές
Πχ φράσεις που ακολουθούν το pattern "χχχχ χχχ χχχ χχχχχ" δλδ 4 γραμματα 3 γραμματα 3 γράμματα και 5 γράμματα βγάζουν το ιδιο αποτέλεσμα!
πχ δοκιμάστε το "Bill fed the goats"
Πάλι το ιδιο θα γίνει...Εκτός και αν αναφέρεται στον Bill Gates οπότε μιλάμε για γενικευμένη συνωμοσία!!!OMG!!

Πρόκειται για κάποια κρυμένα Easter_eggs_in_Microsoft_productswiki στο office της MS δλδ κρυμμένα μηνύματα ή γραμμές κώδικα αφημένες επιτηδες απο τους προγραμματιστές.Αυτό που κάνει στην ουσία είναι να τεστάρει τις δυνατότητες του word με το να φτιάχνει τυχαίες παραγράφους και γραμμές.Το πρώτο νούμερο στην παρένθεση αναφέρεται στον αριθμό των παραγράφων που θα φτιάξει,ενω το δεύτερο στον αριθμο των προτάσεων κάθε παραγράφου.Ετσι πχ αν του δωσουμε την εντολή =rand(2,2) φτιάχνει 2 τυχαιες παραγράφους απο 2 προτάσεις η καθεμιά!
Πολλοί ισως θα ξέρετε το κλασσικό πια κείμενο "lorem ipsum..".Πρόκειται για ένα ακατάληπτο κείμενο που έχει κυρίως λατινικές λέξεις ή λέξεις που μοιάζουν με λατινικές. Σκοπός της χρησιμοποίησής του είναι να αναδειχθούν τα γενικά γραφιστικά χαρακτηριστικά και η εμφάνιση,χωρις να αποσπαται ο χρηστης με το νοημα,ή αλλιώς ενα dummy text.
H MS έβαλε και αυτο το feature στο OFFICE ως easter egg
Ετσι αν γράψουμε =lorem(2,2) θα μας δωσει 2 παραγράφους "lorem ipsum" απο 2 προτάσεις η καθεμιά!!!
Γενικά η MS κρύβει αρκετά easter egg στα προγράμματά της.Υποστηρίζεται οτι τα εκτελέσιμα αρχεία της είναι τόσο μεγάλα σε μέγεθοςεπειδη ακριβώς περιέχουν κώδικα easter egg μέσα!

Ο αστικός μύθος λεει οτι η MS έχει κρύψει μια έκδοση του DOOM 1.0 στο excel
To easter egg πιάνει αλλά μόνο στο excel 95 δοκιμάστε το οσοι το έχετε (!)
1. Open Excel 95 with a blank work sheet
2. Go down to the 95th row
3. Select the whole row
4. Tab over to coloum B
5. Goto Help/About
6. Hold down ctrl-alt-shift and click on the tech support button
7. A window appears call "Hall of Tortured souls"
8. At the end of the hall and all the programmers names
9. Do a 180 turn and type excelkfa. Walk thuorgh the wall and see the pictures.
