Εχω το denon 3910 πολυ καλο σαν cd player αξιζει η αναβαθμιση με ενα dac οπως το dac της benchmark η αξιζει να μεταβω σε αυτα τα λεφτα σε cd player.

αν δεν ακουσεις δεν μπορεις να κρινεις.
Ορισμενα DVD παιζουνα καλα
σιγουρα παντως μια dedicated στον ηχο πηγη παιζει καλυτερα.
Αρκει να ειναι αξιοπρεπης.
Και ορισμενα DAC παιζουν αρκετα καλα.
 
Θα πρότεινα να αγοράσεις ενα φθηνό και καλό transport όπως πχ. ενα ολοκαίνουργιο Οppo μαζί με ένα από τα 3 εξής DACs: Audio Research DAC7 (Πιο ακριβό), Bryston BDA-1 (κάπου στην μέση) ή Benchmark DAC1 (προσιτό και καλό). Το DAC1 το είχα, είναι πολύ-πολύ καλό, το Βryston μακράν καλύτερο σε όλα τα σημεία.

Όσο για την ερώτηση αν είναι καλύτερο να δώσεις 2-3 χιλιάρικα για dedicated dac από το να τα δώσεις για ένα ολοκληρωμένο player: Καμία σχέση - φυσικά τα 2 χιλιάρικα σε DAC σκίζουν όλα τα ολοκληρωμένα CD players των 2 χιλιάρικων.

Και χωρίς το πιο 'φρέσκο' και 'ικανό' transport, θα δεις μεγαααααάάάλες αλλαγές με το DAC.

Βάλε του ένα DAC και καθάρισες..
Μόνο έτσι θα αλλάξεις γνώμη για το αν το 3910 είναι καλό σαν CD Player ή όχι... :BDGBGDB55:

(προσωπικά το είχα, έβαλα ένα Marantz CD67 SE δεκαετίας δίπλα του και κόντεψα να πέσω κάτω από τα γέλια)
 
Tράβα πάρε ένα 'δανεικό' για 3 μέρες από τον αντιπρόσωπο και βγάλε συμπεράσματα μόνος σου. Είναι εποχή που ...ΖΕΥΓΑΡΩΝΟΥΝ ΤΑ TRANSPORTS ΜΕ ΤΑ DACs !

Κατά την γνώμη μου ναι έχει
Με 600-700 ευρω που πάνε τα benchmark μεταχειρισμένα δεν νομίζω πως έχει κάποιος πολλές καλύτερες επιλογές
Με 1300 που κάνει καινούργιο , έχει και άλλες ….
 
Διευκρινήσεις:
Το DAC-1 μεταχειρισμένο πράγματι υπάρχει με 600 .
Το καινούργιο κάνει 950 .
Το DAC-1USB κάνει 1300 .
 
Ειχα ενα cambridge audio για λιγες μερες στην κατοχη μου μεγαλη διαφορα στην αναλυση αλλα εχανε πολυ στην μουσικοτητα κ χαμηλο.
 
Τα τρία τελευταία dac-1 χωρίς usb που παρακολούθησα που πουλήθηκαν εδώ μέσα έκλεισαν μέχρι και 400 ευρώ.

I have been tweeking the bench mark for about a year now and here are the results:
First: I use pure silver XLR interconnects (self made)
Second: Attenuation jumpers set to zero db for xlr output
(the XLR output is much better than the RCA)
Third: upgrade the fuse
Fourth: Replaced the cheapo power cord with a good power cord (mine is self made again)
Fifth: Use Pure Music software in memory mode including upsampling
(this software runs terribly, crashes all the time uses up all 4 GB ram on my mac BUT it sounds better than amarra
and costs shall we say somewhat less)
Sixth: Use a M2Tech interface BNC option with a good but not to expensive BNC cord
Seventh: Mac users go to Audio Midi Setup_Properties For: M2 Tech Highface_Audio Output_Format_set this to 192000.0 Hz
then the Pure Music will upsample to this level. This you should experiment with I myself get good results with redbook cd rips and I don't upsample on 96 khz plus music files

Realize that the upgrades here work as a package, a night and day audible difference with the individual tweeks should not be expected (exception is with zero db setting on XLR output). Having done all of them I am definitely enjoying my system more than ever before. And don't forget: Results May Vary Depending On System!!!!!!

Footnote: I have recently auditioned a Weiss Dac2 comparing it with this benchmark set up conclusions are coming soon.

Το Benchmark, οταν το ακουσα με transport διαφορα cdp δεν επηλθαν μεγαλες διαφορες. Εκει που θα δεις διαφορα μεγαλη ειναι αν παιζεις με pc για transport, αλλα θα χρειαστεις το μοντελο με το usb (και η συνδεση να ειναι με usb). Αυτο τα αξιζει τα λεφτα του. Εχει μια ελλειψη στο μεσοχαμηλο και ειναι λιγο κλινικο ηχητικα, αλλα απο αναλυση και εκταση ειναι φοβερο. Αν εχεις λαμπα στα ενισχυτικα παρ'το αφοβα.

Υπάρχει ένα Weiss Minerva Dac στις αγγελίες που νομίζω ότι πραγματικά αξίζει να κάνεις την υπέρβαση!
