(NASDAQ: HLIT) today announced that Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC), the public broadcaster of the Republic of Cyprus, selected Harmonic’s IP-based digital terrestrial transmission technologies and related services to support CyBC’s rollout of digital public television. Harmonic’s turnkey DVB-T solutions and experience gained from numerous digital terrestrial deployments around the world provide CyBC with a comprehensive video delivery system and seamless upgrade path from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) transmission. CyBC’s new DVB-T headend is located in Nicosia, and the digital service—featuring four digital terrestrial television and radio channels—will be carried over a microwave transmission network to mountain top sites and then broadcast via DVB-T signals to viewers.
CyBC deployed a broad set of video processing solutions for this project including Electra® 5400 SD and 7000 HD AVC encoders, ProStream™ 1000 stream processors with DiviTrack IP™ distributed statistical multiplexing, ProView™ 7000 integrated receiver/decoders, and NMX Digital Service Manager™.

Μωρέ μακάρι, αλλά αν και άσχετο με τα τεχνικά του θέματος, αν έχουν τους ίδιους σχολιαστές που είχαν σε κάτι champions league που είδα φέτος θα βάλω να παίζει και audio stream από ξένο κανάλι από το pc με την τηλεόραση στο mute.

Σίγουρα. Αν η ΝΕΤ όμως δεν έχει τα δικαιώματα για εδώ τότε το ERTWORLD της τείνει να γίνεται euronews τις επίμαχες ώρες. Για τον ίδιο λόγο δεν έχει δείξει κανένα ματς του Ολυμπιακού εντός, τα οποιά μπορεί να τύχει να μη δείχνει κανένα τοπικό κανάλι.
Πλάκα έκανα σχετικά με τους σπίκερς, νομίζω πως είναι το τελευταίο που πρέπει να μας απασχολεί ...Σε τελική ανάλυση, ας μεταδώσει το ΡΙΚ το μουντιάλ σε HD και ας περιγράφει τα παιχνίδια όποιος θέλει...

Φίλε ΙΝ() δεν ξέρω αν μιλάς για Ελλάδα εγώ με στην ερώτηση μου εννούσα δέκτες που πωλούνται στην Κυπριακή αγορά από καταστήματα λιανικής.
