Aν δεν ηταν και focus by wire καλος ειναι ναι 
εχει βεβαια την καλυτερη αισθηση "manual focus" που εχω χρησιμοποιησει ποτε. Για παραδειγμα οι Οympus pro zoom που εχουν το δαχτυλιδι χειροκινητης εστιασης μοιαζουν παιχνιδακια μπροστα του .
Αλλα οταν εχεις συνηθισει το βαρελι του φακου να το γυριζεις εσυ μηχανικα ειναι αλλη αισθηση πως να το κανουμε .

βγηκαν τα βαρεα οπλα για παρελαση......αντικατασταση του θρυλικου EF 11-24mm F4 L USM.
Ο οποιος ηταν απο τους πιο ακριβους φακους στην γκαμα των ef ευρυγωνιων.
Αυτος περιεργως μπορει να βγει αρκετα φθηνα (για τα δεδομενα των RF παντα....) κοντα στα 2500€

Να συνεργαστηκαν ειναι μια πιθανοτητα. Να φτιαξει τοσο ελαφρυ φακο ζουμ η Sigma δυσκολο (κουμπωνει στο θεμα που λεγαμε προσφατα οτι χρειαζεται νεο facility για συνθετικα κελυφη φακων)
Πολυ ενδιαφερον αλλα δεν νομιζω..... Μου εχει τυχει και εμενα να αναγνωριζει ενα φακο η καμερα ως αλλης μαρκας φακο.

Προκειται οπως λεει η Canon για τον πρωτο τοσο ευρυγωνιο AF ζουμ αλλα ταυτοχρονα και με σταθεροποιηση αλλα το βασικο ολων για εμενα ειναι και rectilinear δηλαδη εκ κατασκευης με οπτικα στοιχεια διορθωμενο για την μειωση της παραμορφωσης που ολοι οι ευρυγωνιοι εχουν.
Αν βγει σε αυτην την τιμη και η αποδοση του στο κεντρο ειναι οπως και των υπολοιπων RF ( λεω στο κεντρο γιατι εκ προοιμιου οταν πας να φτιαξεις κατι χαλας κατι αλλο συνηθως τα ακρα ενος φακου) θα μπει πρωτος πρωτος στην λιστα μου για να κλεισει ιδανικα ενα μικρο σετ RF (μαζι με τον 24-70 και 100-500)
Δεν εχω ξαναδει να μπαινει φακος στην "προθηκη" (εστω χωρις τιμη) της ελληνικης αγορας την ημερα που παρουσιαζεται παγκοσμιως .

Το μοτερ του ειναι STM κατι που δικαιολογει την "χαμηλη" του τιμη συγκριτικα με αλλους RF αλλα κυριως τον EF προκατοχο του με USM μοτερ.

Ειναι το πρωτο χαρακτηριστικο παραδειγμα πως η σχεδιαση των φακων mirrorless μπορει να εχει τοσο μεγαλη διαφορα με τους dslr φακους. Σε αντιστοιχης ποιοτητας και χαρακτηριστικων φακο δεν θυμαμαι αλλον να επιτυγχανει τοσο μεγαλη διαφορα βαρους .
