Tamron 16-30mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 lens review

Christopher Frost

Όλα τα βίντεο που έχω δει είναι αρκετά ενθαρρυντικά δεδομένης της τιμής / φωτεινοτητας και του εύρους.

1st world problems με πολλές επιλογές σε Sony.

Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 G2 Z-mount Review | Smaller, Lighter, and Cheaper

Dustin Abbot

Strengths:

  • Excellent optical quality with sharp, high-contrast images across the frame
  • Compact, lightweight, and affordable compared to Nikon S-line lenses
  • Fast, quiet autofocus with Tamron’s VXD motor, suitable for stills and video
  • Customizable controls and weather sealing enhance usability in various conditions
Weaknesses:

  • Lack of teleconverter support, unlike the Nikkor 70-180mm
  • External zoom and focus rings may feel less traditional
  • Slightly inferior autofocus performance compared to the top-tier Nikon 70-200mm S-line, especially for sports
  • No included case, only a lens hood, and minor vignetting/ distortion at the extremes

Pros:

  • Improved build and features
  • Weather sealing
  • The inclusion of VC
  • USB-C port and Lens Utility software provides customization options
  • Fast and accurate autofocus
  • High levels of sharpness across zoom range
  • Good color rendition
  • Good chromatic aberration control
  • Good bokeh
  • Competitively priced
  • Good close up performance
  • Shares a 67mm filter thread with most Tamron E-mount lenses
  • Great price to performance ratio

Cons:

  • Loses teleconverter support vs Nikkor 70-180mm
  • A few autofocus misses
