Μάλιστα, αρρωστήσαμε.. :p
Laser light source, 4K processing, καλα μαυρα, πολυ φως..
Να βγει και σε μια λογική τιμή... ;)

""Epson tells me its not set yet, but they are promising “under $8000″ here in the US. -

Με iPhone 5S, όταν βγαινει το 6 και Epson προβολεα;

JVC has always been very good at preventing news from leaking out concerning their new projectors, and this year is no exception. Some of the current speculation includes they will introduce a new entry level e-shift model thus eliminating any non e-shift enabled models, equip the new models with full HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 inputs along with the processing to accept a more complete range of UHD signal inputs, and perhaps introduce a new flagship projector with native 4K/UHD resolution. As mentioned earlier in this blog we might also see a new projector from JVC using a LED or laser light engine. I repeat, this is all just speculation at this point and while I suspect we will see some of these possible upgrades actually confirmed at CEDIA Expo for JVC’s 2015 models, we might have to wait another year or more to get some of these goodies from JVC, especially a native 4K model or a laser light engine. - See more at: http://www.projectorreviews.com/technical_blog/cedia-expo-2014-preview/#sthash.qvbVrrXE.dpuf

For those interested, the confirmation is from Gary Broadbent, JVC UK Technical Manager, and this is what he had to say:

A little announcement for you.

We would like to confirm that our current models the DLA-X500, DLA-X700 and DLA-X900 will be continuing into next year.

We are confident that our lead in areas such as Black Level, Native & Dynamic Contrast, as well as features such as Lens Memory and 4K CMD, together with the still slightly fluid matter of 4K standards, means that these models will CONTINUE until the next generation becomes available.

I spent some time today with the JVC reps at the JVC consumer div. booth on the show floor. As you all know by now the X35 is no more and the X500 and higher models continue unchanged. It appears the target for new models in later next year. The factors leading to this are:

Today they can only get HDMI 2.0 chips that are full bandwidth but without HDCP 2.2 support or limited bandwidth HDMI 2.0 chips with HDCP 2.2 (as being used by Sony and th new Epson LS10000). They made it clear that next generation will need to have both full bandwidth HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 and support the other requirement for the upcoming high quality UHD video sources, e.g., Blu-ray UHD.

It was indicated they are working on/investigating native 4K and laser light engines but they could not confirm, nor would I expect them to, either or both of these technologies will be incorporated in the projectors expected to be shown a year from now at CEDIA Expo 2015.

New JVC D-ILA 4k (eshift) hybrid laser engine

Today JVC announced a new hybrid laser projector in Amsterdam
http://www.avmagazine.it/news/avprofessional/ibc-jvc-dla-vs2400-laser-ibrido-4k_9536.html

These are two models of the professional series and also the availability of version "consumer" is yet to be verified. The microdisplay and playback technology used is the same of the models currently in production, and full HD D-ILA panels for the model DLA-VS2200 and instead mechanism and frame-shift to play a 4K resolution interpolated for the DLA-VS2400 .
For both models have the interchangeable lens. What changes is the light engine: in 2200 there will be the traditional high-pressure mercury lamp. In DLA-VS2400 instead there will be a system with hybrid lasers and phosphorswhich should ensure a luminous flux of 1,100 lumens, colorimetric performance as a minimum equal to the current models and an expected duration of the illumination system of considerably higher.

Somewhat off topic, actually way off topic, but I stopped by the DVDO/Silicon Image booth and talked about the status of the SI next gen HDMI 2.0 chips. They said the full bandwidth HDMI 2.0 chips with HDCP 2.2 support will being shipping to the CE manufacturers within days or weeks and the first products equipped with these may me out by the first of the year.

Οποτε επιβεβαιώνονται οι φήμες πως φέτος δεν έχει νέα μοντελα...
Για τον Μπάμπη το έκαναν, είμαι σίγουρος! :p
