δυστυχως ισχυει αυτο.. αμφιβάλλω αν θα βγει image ανταξιο των προηγουμενων

Το πα εγω οτι μεσα στης γιορτες θα εχουμε αλλα κολπα, το λοιπον EDG-Nemesis και dream-elite, γινονται μια ομαδα πλεον. Αλλα το παρτυ δεν τελειωσε εδω.........:a0210:
 
The new images have all the latest drivers and new kernel, also will have the direct support of the Dream Multimedia.
Last not least, the new DREAM-ELITE team announce that additionally, besides to the images development, will give support to all the official images, becoming the reference point of all Dreambox decoder.

The new images will have as base the source code of EDG-Nemesis.

IMPORTANT: The support for old images (Dream-Elite) will no longer be available.

The Dream Elite staff proudly will wait for you on the forum where the new images will be released.

Και όπως είχα γράψει, δεν υπάρχει πια Dream-Elite αλλά μόνο το όνομα. Οι προγραμματιστές/skinners κτλ της Dream-Elite έφτιαξαν το Blackhole για VU. Και αυτό ακριβώς αποδεικνύεται στην παραπάνω ανακοίνωση. Το codebase του EDG-Nemesis θα είναι το "νέο" Dream Elite.

Θα ήθελα να μάθω τις λεπτομέρειες πάντως, πως το όνομα/domain κατέληξε να ελέγχεται από την DMM και όχι από αυτούς που έφτιαχναν το image. Πρέπει να έγιναν πολλές ραδιουργίες στο παρασκήνιο ...

This weekend we will start a new age with Gemini. The age of the Gemini plugin (The Gemini Project 3).

What does it mean for you:

* You won't get full Gemini-images from us.
* You have to flash an image of your own choice (we recommend the iCVS, DMM release or experimental..)
* You have to install the Gemini Wizard (already included in the iCVS)
* With the Gemini Wizard you can install a full- or baseversion from the Gemini plugin and it's components.

The advantages from the new Gemini plugin are clear:

* You get a plugin, that you can install in every image, which you can update every time you want.
* You can decide on your own, how comprehensive your Gemini plugin is (every Gemini app can be installed seperately)
* You can do updates online for Gemini and DMM innovations without reflash your box.


What is already available in the Gemini-plugin:

Of course every start is difficult, because the Gemini-plugin was coded all up new from the ground.

Welcome to GP3 - The Gemini team strikes a new path:

We proudly present our new The Gemini 3 Plugin.
The functionality of the GP3 is almost identical to the old Gemini images.
The Gemini-Plugin is installed in a CVS-Image. Our ICVS-Image is already prepared for this.
Basically the usage is also compatible with other CVS images.
However, besides the Ihad ICVS Images we only recommend to use it with the original DMM OE 1.6 Images because those are the only images which we will test and support!


For the time being, we decided to stop releasing further Gemini images because there are several advantages:
1. No self maintained update server anymore, which means if for example new drivers are released only the DMM image (or the image of your choice) needs to be updated.
2. If there will be a new Gemini3 release there is no need to reflash the Box completely - a simple update is sufficient.
3. Every user may use the image of his choice.

The Plugin has a completely new designed, Icon-based desktop Interface (similar to Iphone/Android smartphones) which can be accessed as usual by pushing the blue button.
From now on, the IHAD team will only release the ICVS Images which come with a preinstalled Installations Wizzard - this assures online installations in a smooth and easy way.

Μου αρέσει που επιμένεις, αλλά όσο επιμένεις τόσο θα σε διορθώνω. Δεν υπάρχει Dream Elite πλέον στους Dreambox. Έχει μείνει μόνο το όνομα. Όχι ότι έχει καμία σημασία, υπάρχουν δεκάδες ομάδες και η μόνη έξτρα δυνατότητα του Dream Elite που ήταν τα usb dvb-t υποστηρίζεται πλέον από την ίδια την DMM στο επίσημο feed.
