Στη νουβέλα του 9, fans get to learn about a scene that bridges together Kylo Ren’s (Adam Driver) hunt for the Sith Wayfinder.

In the opening of Episode IX, viewers get to see the First Order Supreme Leader desperately searching for the Sith Wayfinder so that he can find Palpatine. He finds himself on the lava moon Mustafar, but n order to get to the Wayfinder, Kylo Ren has to cut through the planet’s colonists.

The novelization for The Rise of Skywalker adds to the scene, revealing that Kylo has to meet the Eye of the Webbish Bog, a lake-dwelling gatekeeper, who gives him the Wayfinder. In the book, fans learn that Vader placed the Eye and his warriors to protect the Sith Lord’s old castle.
