Κάποιοι δεν έχουν καθόλου εικόνα και πρέπει να τον σβήσουν, να βγάλουν την μπρίζα και να τον ανάψουν ξανά για να κλειδώσει το σήμα. Και μετά αν αλλάξουν ανάλυση, ο προβολέας κρασάρει!

Το μονο που (ισως) δειχνει προς firm ειναι ότι, αν καταλαβα καλα (δεν διαβασα με προσοχη το νημα), τα προβληματα εμφανίζονται σε εναλλαγή κλειδωματος (πχ από 24 σε 50) και όχι κατα τη διαρκεια θεασης μιας ταινίας πχ.

Δεν ξερω αν ο Τακης που τα διαβασε πιο προσεκτικά είδε κατι αλλο...

We will not be able to offer you a test of the new JVC DLA- X500 because our copy is affected by the HDMI connection problem reported by many owners of this unit through forums Homecinéma American, German or French . While our JVC DLA- X700 was spared, from the first minutes we were a victim of this bug called " HDMI HANDSHAKE " with the X500 . It is manifested in the following way , when you change frequencies (from 1080p24 to 1080p60 for example) , the image becomes black and it is totally impossible to control the projector. Empirical solutions are as follows: the first is to unplug the power supply ( the projector lamp will thank you not) , and then turn off your Blu -Ray player and rallumer.Le automatic launch of the film in Drive to synchronize image again , but you will always be impossible to return to the menu of your player without encountering this bug. A very bad start for this new generation really heartbreaking because apart starting this defect, the image delivered by the new generation of JVC is beautiful .

Switching the HDMI cables and Blu- Ray player does not allow us to avoid default. We note that we were direct connection between our sources and the projector.

Fingers crossed that the builder is a quick solution to this design flaw but we would highly advise you to postpone your purchase of this model until a hypothetical update.

...επισης καλο ειναι στο unboxing και το start up να εχεις μαζι και τον panman που ειναι και τυχερος, ειδικα με θεματα κλειδωματων

Για το προβλημα ακομα και χωρις HDMI καλώδιο παντως, υπαρχει εξήγηση: Μπορει ο τυπος να εννοουσε ότι εμφανίστηκε το πρόβλημα και μετα εβγαλε το καλώδιο αλλά συνεχισε (κατι που εχει λογικη αν δεν εχει καθαρισει το buffer - οπως ειπε καποιος στο AVF)

Δεν ξερω αν ο Τακης που τα διαβασε πιο προσεκτικά είδε κατι αλλο...

Νομίζω ότι είναι πιο σοβαρά τα πράγματα σχετικά με το ''handshake''. Οι Γάλλοι ανέβαλαν το review γιατί ο προβολέας δεν κλείδωνε πουθενά (θα βρω το λινκ).

Έχεις δίκιο Σύριε, λάθος δικό μου. Στην αλλαγή το κάνει...

Ενας UK rep της JVC ανέφερε σε φορουμ οτι δοκιμαζουν ήδη ''software fix'' και σε όσους εχουν δοκιμασει τουλαχιστον, ειναι ΟΚ.

Το υποπτο / προβλημα ειναι ότι ανεφερε οτι το update ειναι ''two-stage process'' και ''δεν ειναι πρακτικο να το κανει ο end user'' με αποτελεσμα μαλλον να προτεινουν επιστροφη των μηχανηματων στην JVC για την αναβαθμιση ή αποστολή τεχνικού σπιτι.

Εκτος οτι τα τελευταια 2 ειναι αστειότητες (ειδικα στον Ελλάντα - βλ. 2η περιπτωση), σε βάζουν σε υποψίες αν τελικα ειναι μονο software το θεμα...

Whilst I've seen some blank pictures and a few other handshake type issues, I've not experienced the complete lockup that some in the US have reported.

We are however currently testing a software update that should resolve all issues. Because the symptoms vary and are difficult to replicate reliably, the software is currently being tested in several countries. In the UK we’ve not had any problems at all since we installed the software on our test unit. Assuming the remaining testing goes OK, this update will be used in production from the next batch and all units currently in UK stock will be updated. As far as I'm aware, this is also the case for other countries.

Unfortunately, as the update is a two-stage process and rather involved, it is not practical for users to carry it out themselves. In the UK we will make arrangements to update any units already in customers’ homes that have a problem, either by shipping the unit to JVC or by visiting the customer’s home if this is practical. "

Τελευταιο update:

Additional Info:

· The update will require a Windows computer (Has been tested with Windows 7).
· The computer will need to have an RS232 Serial connection.
· If the computer does not have an RS232 Serial connection, then a USB>RS232 Serial Adaptor will need to be purchased.
· You will need an RS232 Null Modem Cross Cable.
. Microsoft .NET framework program may need to be updated.

Hopefully the update will be released this week.
