Keith Jarrett - Paris / London - Testament (αναμένεται σύντομα)

Hey Guys ...listen ...I' m almost fifty years old ... Now I can easily strip down to what is essential ... Now is the perfect time to appreciate the Beatles , the Stones , and a few more artists alike.... I'll keep searching deep into the vaults of be-bop , hard bop , heavy soul funk and ...baroque.

Regarding You...OK...we're getting old, like everybody else.
Trouble with you, is you keep scrappin' the barrel. There's nothing left there son, believe me

the more I scrape the more I find that those guys used to make pretty thick barrels those days....:grinning-smiley-043

If you do after all, which I expect you won't, do it German. They love forms and structure...

I wouldn't dream of doing it any other way ( when it comes to compositional terms of course )

May I ask where , however , where do you base your expectations ?

Re: Απάντηση: Keith Jarrett - Paris / London - Testament (αναμένεται σύντομα)

Schoenberg and Webern were Germans.
Stockhausen, Can and Kraftwerk too.
Not to mention their writers and poets ;)
Dear Liebe,
Pardon my loving of the distant past, I was solely refering to the baroque era.
Nevertheless, and to answer Dock's question, he has admitedly shown some good sympathy to Stravinsky in the past whilst only marginal preference to the Brandenburgs and Mr. Pinnock...That is to say, for beach-listening sessions :grinning-smiley-043

Μy dear friend , you got me all wrong . I just happened to listen to the Brandenburgs while lying on the beach , only because I had just bought them on cd - Herbert von karajan conducting- along with other 5 of a six cd pack and solely beacause they were a killer bargain ( all for the price of 9,90 )
Otherwise my loyalty lies with Mr Pinnock and period instruments
