Η ιστοσελίδα www.fullhd.gr έχει στη διάθεσή της τη πρώτη OLED TV της LG με το κωδικό LG 55ΕΜ960V.

Oι πρώτες πληροφορίες αναφέρουν ότι:

• Θα κυκλοφορήσει πρώτα στην Κορέα τον Αύγουστο
• Θα κυκλοφορήσει στην Ευρώπη τον Οκτώβριο.
• Θα κοστίζει 7000€
• Για φέτος θα λανσαριστεί μόνο στις 55 ίντσες.
• Είναι τεχνολογίας White OLED δηλαδή έχει τέσσερα χρωματιστά pixels
• Είναι 50Hz ή 60Ηz πάνελ
• Λεπτή σε πάχος που στο σασί της έχουν βάλει ανθρακονήματα για να στηριχθεί
• Χρησιμοποιεί οπτικό καλώδιο για τη σύνδεση
• Τα ηλεκτρονικά βρίσκονται εξωτερικά σε δικό τους κουτί.
• Θα κυκλοφορήσουν του χρόνου μεγαλύτερες και μικρότερες διαστάσεις

Χμμμ... Αν όντως αληθεύουν τα 50Hz, όπως γράφει κάποιος και στα σχόλια, βλέπω να έχουμε "τρελά γλέντια" όταν σκάσει μύτη στην Ευρώπη... :flipout:

Είναι και θέμα μάρκετινγκ να μην φαίνεται στα 50 Hz όταν έχουν συνηθίσει οι καταναλωτές σε 400/800/1200 κτλ. Hz.

Έχει αρχίσει να πέφτει θάψιμο τελευταία στα reviews των τηλεοράσεων της LG. Κυρίως αναφέρονται στα φτωχά επίπεδα του μαύρου (αναμενόμενο έως ένα βαθμό) και σε προβλήματα ομοιομορφίας. Το παράξενο είναι ότι σε σύγκριση με τα περσινά μοντέλα λένε ότι τα πράγματα μάλλον είναι χειρότερα φέτος (ως προς το μαύρο τουλάχιστον) ενώ έχει προστεθεί και το πρόβλημα των αντανακλάσεων.

Πάντα νομίζω ότι τα μοντέλα της LG είχαν αντίστοιχα θέματα, αλλά ίσως σταμάτησε η "υποβοήθηση" των Κορεατών προς τους αρθρογράφους.

Η γνώμη μου είναι ότι συμβαίνουν διάφορα "υπογείως" που δεν θα μάθουμε ποτέ. Υπάρχει το ενδεχόμενο οι Κορεάτες να επαναπαύθηκαν στην 1η & 2η θέση σε πωλήσεις, και να έκοψαν τις "επιχορηγήσεις", για μεγιστοποίηση κερδών. Μπορεί να προσπαθεί η πανασόνικ να σπρώξει τις δικές τις LCD (οπότε να αυξήθηκαν οι επιχορηγήσεις προς άλλη κατεύθυνση), και τέλος μπορεί να έχει δοθεί γραμμή απαξίωσης από τους ίδιους τους Κορεάτες απαξίωσης, γιατί υπάρχουν οι OLED στην γωνία.

Ελάχιστοι ξέρουν τι συμβαίνει (λόγω επαφής με εταιρίες) και δεν θα μας πουν.

Με βάση πάντως ότι τα πάνελ της LG θα τα βρεις σε όλες τις μάρκες (οποιοδήποτε μοντέλο με παθητικό 3Δ), μπορείς να δεις αν χειροτέρεψαν βλέποντας τα αντίστοιχα reviews σε άλλες μάρκες. Λόγο να χειροτερέψουν τα πράγματα στην ποιότητα των πάνελ δεν βλέπω, εκτός και αν γίνεται σκόπιμα για να επιβληθούν οι OLED. Αλλά φαντάζομαι θέλουν να πουλήσουν και φέτος τηλεοράσεις, οπότε δύσκολα θα έκανε μια εταιρία κάτι τέτοιο.
 
Εγώ πάλι πιστεύω ότι κάθε χρόνο ανεβαίνουν και τα στάνταρ των καταναλωτών αλλά και κάποιων testers οπότε το καλό του χθες είναι το μέτριο του σήμερα.

Επίσης το cost cutting των εταιρειών έχει πολλές φορές επιπτώσεις στην ποιότητα του τελικού προϊόντος.

Like with most recent LED LCD televisions, the most remarkable thing about the LG 47LM960V is its styling. LCD picture quality seems to have peaked, especially since manufacturers have found it more worthwhile to make ultra-slim edge-lit LED TVs instead of those featuring LED local dimming. These days, the advancements are being made in internet-connected functionalities and aesthetics. The LM960V does well in these areas: the display’s rounded edges, silver trim and basically non-existent bezel mean that it’s going to turn many heads, and the addition of the Magic Remote means that the web browser on the TV is something that you’ll actually want to use. There is also an exhaustive array of calibration controls (and we mean “exhaustive” in every sense of the word!), which allow the HDTV’s overall accuracy to be brought up to an excellent standard.

As for picture quality, the performance was basically as we had expected from an LG LCD product using an IPS panel. Overall picture quality can be good, with the IPS strengths of better-than-typical LCD viewing angle performance and little in the way of panel-generated motion artefacts being present. However, the Korean conglomerate has seen fit to programme quite obvious noise reduction into the video processor which squanders the latter strength of the LCD panel, and introduces smearing into Blu-ray Disc movies, particularly during dark scenes. Contrast performance is what we expected from an IPS LCD, and while the pseudo Local Dimming feature improves the perceived black levels, it can obviously dim white areas in dark scenes.

The 47LM960V also isn’t a great display for video gamers, with an unusually high amount of input lag slowing down gamepad-to-screen responsiveness, even in the “Game” and “PC” modes.

With the negatives out of the way, though, there’s still enough left about the LG LM960V to like. While its out-of-the-box Greyscale accuracy wasn’t great, users who have a means of calibrating the television will find that the incredibly comprehensive 20-point Greyscale control – while a real kludge to use – is worth perservering with, because it brings about basically perfect Greyscale accuracy at nearly all brightness levels. Colour accuracy, while imperfect, is also of a high standard. For users without external speakers, it also produces some very satisfying sound. The usage of the passive 3D technology brings with it the ups (flicker free 3D, cheap, light, plentiful glasses…) and downs (half vertical resolution), and we think passive 3D, while as flawed as the also imperfect active-shutter system, fills an important gap in the marketplace.

The end result of all of this is a qualified recommendation. The competition is incredibly strong, and LG can’t afford to keep shooting themselves in the foot with video processing hiccups. Once again, LG: please, please, please make sure that these quirks don’t cross over to your upcoming 55″ OLED TV – that would be a fairly heartbreaking situation. If you’re into passive 3D, excellent design, weighty sound and a very usable Smart TV feature set, and aren’t as choosy when it comes to image quality, then give the LG 47LM960V a look.

H νέα 47άρα [μιρκή ακούγεται] LED LCD τηλεόραση της LG είναι ειδικών αποστολών.



Κυρίως για να παίζει σε αντίξοες συνθήκες, όπου τα ποσοστά του φωτισμού είναι υψηλά. Για εμπορικούς και δημόσιους χώρους δηλαδή.

Για να αντεπεξέλθει μπορεί να αποδώσει φωτεινότητα της τάξεως των 2000 cd/m2, ενώ αντέχει σε θερμοκρασίες της τάξεως των 110 βαθμών Κελσίου.

Κόντρα στον ήλιο δηλαδή...

Χρησιμοποιεί panel ΙPS, για ευρεία γωνία θέασης και αποδίδει αντίθεση 1500:1 πράγμα που σημαίνει ότι εύλογα η στάθμη μαύρου είναι υψηλή.

Ο χρόνος απόκρισης της ανέρχεται στα 9ms, ενώ διαθέτει media player.

Mην το λες... Για κάποιους που ήθελαν να βάλουν τηλεοράσεις σε beach-bar για να βλέπουν μπάλα τα καλοκαιρινά απογεύματα, θα είναι μια ρεαλιστική επιλογή...
 
LG 42LM620T 3D LED LCD TV Review

The LG 42LM620T is an imperfect, but nevertheless decent LED LCD TV. Happily at this price point, it doesn’t have any significant picture quality issues beyond the inherent limitations of its mediocre black level (unavoidable with IPS-type LCD panels) and the lessened 3D resolution (par for the course with passive 3D). Colour reproduction could also be better, with the LM620T failing to reproduce the most saturated extremes of the Rec.709 HDTV colour standard, something we often see with LED-lit LCDs. On the up side, we were very happy to see that nearly none of the video processing issues we discovered on the company’s more expensive LM960V were present on this mid-range model.

Our final recommendation of the 42LM620 is more or less the same as with other IPS LED LCD televisions, such as the Panasonic TX-L42ET50 – if you plan on installing it in a bright room where the weak IPS black level won’t be an issue, then it’s a good choice. The Panasonic is slightly more expensive, provides a better 3D experience (thanks to its full resolution images, which also avoid the blocky video processing issues of the LG) and has better colour accuracy, whereas the LG is more affordable and will interest those who prefer the passive 3D system. Few aspects of its picture quality are perfect (calibrated greyscale accuracy being the exception), but we don’t think it has any significant faults, either.

In the end, we felt that the LG 42LM620T managed to pull itself into “Recommended” territory. It has issues which buyers should be aware of, but it can produce images which are worthy of inclusion in this category.

The LG LM620T doesn’t feature a 100hz or 200hz-capable LCD panel, so unsurprisingly, it managed only about 300 lines out of a possible 1080 in the horizontally scrolling motion tesolution test from the FPD Benchmark Software disc. The black text on the grey background also displayed with white ghost images (overdrive errors).

Don’t be fooled by the fact that the 42LM620 features several [TruMotion] motion interpolation modes: the panel isn’t capable of any higher level of motion clarity, so enabling this option will only give films a “soap opera effect”, and do nothing to improve motion clarity with high motion video content (such as TV sports).
 
LG starts production of 84" 4K Cinema 3D TV

The TV uses a 4K (3840x2160 pixels) resolution, enabling LG to present 2D content in 4K resolution and 3D content in impressive 3D picture quality, only requiring cheap polarized 3D glasses. 4K resolution is four times higher than Full HD and incorporates approximately 8.3 million individual pixels. The TV will also come complete with LG’s Smart TV platform with TV apps and a 2.2 speaker system. It is based on a LCD panel with LED backlighting.
