-LG TV Line-up 2018-

-LG has revealed its 2018 lineup of OLED TVs to select US publications in an advanced briefing. There will be the Wallpaper W8 series, the E8 picture-on-glass series, the C8 and the B8 "Blade-Slim" series.

The W8, E8 and C8 will use the company's new advanced Alpha 9 (or A9) processor, whereas the B8 will use a less beefy A7. All will support HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision and Advanced Technicolor HDR.

We attended a briefing behind closed doors on LG's new 2018 OLED TVs, and were blown away by the video accuracy potential of the 3D LUT AutoCal functionality developed together with Portrait Displays.

Clarification 1: The LG E8 features a slimmer soundbar than E7 (yet maintains similar audio output), and does NOT use Crystal Sound OLED (CSO) technology;

Clarification 2: Meant to say "No true HDMI 2.1 support" at 07:49

We go eyes-on with LG Display's 65-inch rollable OLED TV in an invite-only session. The flexible display has a UHD resolution of 3840x2160, and is 65 inches in screen size.

It can be set to three aspect ratios, namely 16:9 full screen, 2.35:1 cinemascope, and a shorter infobar. It's only a prototype at this stage.

We were exploring the user menu of LG's 2018 OLED TVs, and discovered that the South Korean brand has implemented black frame insertion (BFI), allowing for higher motion resolution without resorting to interpolation, yay!

Αν θυμάμαι καλά η OLED 65C7V αρχική τιμή ήταν 5300 τώρα βλέπουμε, αν αληθεύει την 65C8 στα 3.499.
Αν είναι σωστές οι τιμές είναι σοβαρή μείωση.
 
77άρα από 9999 φέτος...

Άντε, 1-1,5 χρόνος για τα 4999 έμεινε... :eating:
