ASTRA 1Nʼs primary mission is to complement the existing and future ASTRA fleet at orbital position 19.2° East for 15+ years. Before moving to its final destination at 19.2°E, the satellite will support an interim mission at 28.2°E, where it will provide coverage for the United Kingdom and Ireland.
