Αποκαλύφθηκε κατά τη διάρκεια της παρουσίασης Square Enix Presents Summer Showcase, για την E3 2021, το επόμενο πόνημα από την Eidos Montreal. Το Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, περί ου ο λόγος, αποτελεί το πιο πρόσφατο προϊόν της συνεργασίας ανάμεσα σε Marvel και Square Enix, ενώ θα βρει τους παίκτες, παρέα με τους συμπαθείς Guardians, να προσπαθούν (μάλλον) να σώσουν τον κόσμο, σε μια πρωτότυπη ιστορία. Επιπλέον, στον εν λόγω action adventure τίτλο, οι παίκτες θα χειρίζονται τον "ηγέτη" της συγκεκριμένης κομπανίας, Star-Lord. Το Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy είναι προγραμματισμένο για διάθεση σε PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One και Xbox Series S/X στις 26 Οκτωβρίου 2021.
