Από ένα τέτοιο θέμα δεν μπορεί να λείπει ο Woody Allen. Στην πρώτη του ταινία Take the money and run (1969-´Ζητείται εγκέφαλος για ληστεία όπως το ήθελε ο Έλλην μεταφραστής) ο Allen υποδύεται ένα μικρικακοποιό της συμφοράς που συχνά-πυκνά οδηγείται στη φυλακή. Όταν λοιπόν τον κλείνουν σε μία φυλακή υψίστης ασφαλείας, ρίχνει την ατάκα (μέσω του αφηγητή που διηγείται την ιστορία του):

"Θα βγω από τη φυλακή ακόμα και αν χρειαστεί...να περάσω το υπόλοιπο της ζωής μου εδώ μέσα"!!!!!
